Disinfecting takes a different process
If you are using the aerosol for its disinfectant purpose, the manufacturer directs you to pre-clean visible soil, then spray hard, non-porous surfaces from 6–8 inches away until thoroughly wet. Leave the surface wet for 5 minutes before wiping. The product page lists organisms covered by its disinfectant claims; rely on the label for the exact claims and directions. The official product page distinguishes these steps from routine cleaning.
Contact time matters for disinfection: the EPA advises keeping disinfectant surfaces wet for the time specified on the product label. EPA consumer guidance also recommends following product directions and increasing ventilation during and after cleaning.

Check the surface before spraying
The aerosol page lists tubs, showers, shower doors, sinks, countertops, glazed ceramic tile, stainless steel, chrome fixtures, glazed porcelain, glass, granite, vinyl shower curtains, vanity tops, fiberglass, laminate, quartz, and vinyl. It says the aerosol is not recommended for acrylic fixtures and advises spot-testing other surfaces. When a surface is unfamiliar or delicate, test an inconspicuous area first and follow the package label.
Do not assume that every product called Mega Shower Foamer has the same formula or surface limits. The separate trigger version is described as containing lactic acid and surfactant, and its product page excludes acrylic, brass, and untreated natural stone. Those exclusions apply to the trigger product, not automatically to the aerosol. Check the trigger version’s official details and cautions if that is the formulation you have.
