What kind of lawn is the RMA 239 C for?
STIHL positions the RMA 239 C for small to medium-sized lawns. The manufacturer says the recommended AK 20 battery covers approximately 250 m². The actual area a charge will manage can vary with grass length, moisture, terrain and mowing conditions, so treat the figure as a planning estimate rather than a promise.
Its 37 cm cutting width is a practical fit for smaller gardens and tighter spaces. A narrower deck may mean more passes on a larger lawn than a wider mower would require; that is a trade-off to weigh against compactness and manoeuvrability.

Cutting height
STIHL lists six central cutting-height positions, from 20 mm to 70 mm. This is the mower’s adjustment range, not evidence by itself of a particular cut quality. Grass collection
The catcher holds 40 litres and has a fill-level indicator, so you can check when it needs emptying. STIHL describes the catcher as foldable, which helps reduce its bulk when stored.
Handle and storage
