The Mo.5 450 is a compact, trailer-based tiny house designed to make regular travel possible: New Atlas reported 4.5 m (14.9 ft) of usable length and sleeping space for up to four, though its description says four fit only “at a squeeze.” Its small footprint comes with real compromises, especially limited loft headroom and tight sleeping spaces.
How the Mo.5 450 is laid out
In a November 3, 2024 profile, New Atlas described the Mo.5 450, designed by Mooble House UK, as a 4.5 m (14.9 ft) usable-length home on a double-axle trailer. The article presents the short layout as travel-friendly, but it does not report the trailer’s weight, dimensions beyond usable length, or towing requirements.
Two sleeping areas, with a squeeze for four
The main-floor sleeping area is an L-shaped sofa that converts to a double bed. A second double bed sits on a raised mezzanine above the bathroom and is reached by ladder. New Atlas notes limited headroom in the loft and characterizes four-person sleeping as possible only “at a squeeze”; that is the article’s description, not an independently verified occupancy rating.
Compact kitchen and bathroom
The kitchen is equipped with a two-burner propane stove, sink, cabinetry, and space for a fridge. The bathroom contains a shower, small sink, and camper-van-style cassette toilet. The article does not identify appliance brands or provide dimensions for these fixtures.

Water, power, and off-grid use
New Atlas reports that fresh-water and waste-water tanks are installed, but gives no tank capacities. Solar panels are not standard; the article describes them as a possible off-grid upgrade without specifying a system size or compatibility requirements. It also does not state the house’s electrical specifications, heating, insulation, or whether it is equipped for year-round living.
What the 2024 price does—and does not—tell you
New Atlas reported a starting price of £32,990, described at the time as almost US$43,000. The article was published on November 3, 2024, and says options may add to the price. Treat the figure as a dated starting price, not a current quote or a like-for-like affordability comparison with other tiny houses.
