Samsung’s 25 June 2025 India announcement covered two Bespoke AI refrigerator configurations: a Double Door line launched at INR 44,000 onwards and a French Door model with a 9-inch AI Home display, planned to be available from July 2025. Those are historical launch details, not current prices or confirmation of present stock.
What Samsung announced in India
Samsung grouped the refrigerators within its 2025 Bespoke AI appliance range. The announcement described Double Door refrigerators with connected and cooling features, plus a French Door refrigerator combining an AI Home screen with AI Vision Inside.

Samsung said the wider appliance range was available through Samsung Exclusive Stores, Samsung.com and major e-commerce platforms. These are launch-period statements, not a current inventory or price check. Samsung’s India launch announcement is the source for the lineup and launch details.
What the AI Home display does
The French Door model’s 9-inch screen is presented as a dashboard for notes, schedules, entertainment and controls for connected appliances. At a Samsung India tech seminar on 2 July 2025, the company demonstrated the screen as a SmartThings hub, including Map View, Bixby commands, Knox Security Dashboard, SmartThings Energy and Routines. That was a Samsung demonstration, not an independent product test.

Connected features depend on the refrigerator model and region; SmartThings functions require Wi-Fi and a Samsung account. A compatible connected appliance or service may also be needed for the control functions being used. Samsung’s seminar coverage describes what was demonstrated.
AI Vision Inside: what it recognizes—and what it does not
Samsung says AI Vision Inside can recognize up to 37 fresh-food items and up to 50 pre-saved processed-food items. It can help show the refrigerator interior remotely, track expiry dates and suggest recipes. The figures are Samsung’s claims, not independently validated recognition results.
Limits to food recognition
- Availability is limited to select models. Samsung’s global explanation names select T-Type and French Door models, so do not assume every 2025 India refrigerator has the feature.
- Processed-food recognition applies to qualifying packaged forms saved under designated names after repeated placement; it does not mean the refrigerator automatically identifies every packaged product.
- The system does not identify or list food in door bins or the freezer. An item it cannot recognize may be marked “unknown.”
- Samsung says users may need to check and adjust the food list. Wi-Fi and a Samsung account are required for related SmartThings app functions on the RM90F66CNCTL model page.

Cooling, maintenance and energy features
Double Door cooling flexibility
Samsung lists Twin Cooling Plus, Convertible 5-in-1 modes and Active Fresh Filter+ among the Double Door line’s features. Samsung says Active Fresh Filter+ eliminates up to 99.99% of harmful bacteria; this is a manufacturer claim, not an independent verification. Feature availability can vary by exact model, so confirm the model code rather than treating every item in the family description as universal.
AI Energy Mode
Samsung’s RM90F66CNCTL product page says SmartThings AI Energy Mode can reduce energy use by up to 10%. Samsung bases that figure on a comparison at the factory setting temperature with and without AI Energy Mode, and says results vary with usage conditions and patterns. It is not a guaranteed reduction in electricity bills and should not be applied to every 2025 refrigerator model.
SmartThings Home Care
The Double Door announcement includes SmartThings Home Care. The connected service’s functions depend on model, region, Wi-Fi and Samsung account requirements; the launch description does not establish that every model offers the same service features.

How to compare models before buying
The launch notice does not provide a complete India model-by-model table of capacities, prices or feature availability. Before choosing between listings, verify the following for the exact model code:
- Configuration and usable capacity, including whether the listing is Double Door or French Door.
- Whether it actually includes the 9-inch AI Home display and the specific AI Vision Inside functions you want.
- Which cooling and convertible-zone features are present, rather than assuming all family features apply to every SKU.
- Wi-Fi, Samsung account and SmartThings requirements for connected controls, maintenance and energy functions.
- Current local price, stock, delivery and installation details, plus applicable warranty and service terms.
Samsung notes that availability can vary by location. Its listed 658 L RM90F66CNCTL is one French Door example, not proof of the complete 2025 India lineup or a current listing. Check Samsung’s model page and local retailer listings for the exact configuration and current terms.
