Russell Westbrook’s off-market purchase of a Brentwood mansion was reported in October 2022, not as a new transaction. The Los Angeles Times put the price at $37 million; a 2023 account citing the seller later broke it down as $33.5 million for the property plus $2.5 million for furniture, a total of $36 million.
How much did Russell Westbrook pay for his Brentwood house?
The reported price depends on which account you use. The Los Angeles Times reported in October 2022 that Westbrook bought the property for $37 million. The Real Deal later identified it as 565 North Tigertail Road and, citing seller Sam Palmer, reported $33.5 million for the home and an additional $2.5 million for furniture. Those figures add to $36 million, not $37 million. The available reports do not establish an independently verified deed price or explain the difference.
The Times said Westbrook closed the off-market purchase through his limited liability company, Gifted 999, and identified Petra Ecclestone as the seller. The Real Deal’s price breakdown was also reported by Hilton & Hyland, which credited the Wall Street Journal; neither account is an official recording. The Times described the transaction as Brentwood’s priciest home sale so far in 2022, a comparison limited to sales reported by October 31 of that year.
Where is the house?
The Real Deal’s March 2023 account identified the property as 565 North Tigertail Road in Brentwood, Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Times and Mansion Global described the sale as off-market. The sources establish the reported transaction and address, but do not establish Westbrook’s current ownership or occupancy.
