Those are builder-described features—not proof that the home delivers “full-time living without compromise” for every household. Rewild does not publish Thicket-specific performance data, a price or a resident account on the pages reviewed.
What comes in the Rewild Homes Thicket?
Rewild Homes lists the Thicket at 34 feet by 10 feet 6 inches. The builder describes it as having a cedar and metal exterior, French doors, ample windows, a cedar ceiling and locally sourced fir trim. Inside, its listed features include:
- A ground-floor bedroom with closet space
- A storage loft
- A kitchen with full-sized propane appliances
- A full bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower
- A combo washer/dryer
- Electric space heat and an electric fireplace
These details come from Rewild Homes’ Thicket page. It does not identify appliance or fixture brands, or provide specifications for the heating system.
Is the Thicket suitable for full-time living?
Rewild says the Thicket is suitable for full-time living or a retreat. Its ground-floor bedroom, laundry, full bathroom and kitchen appliances suggest that the design includes functions many people look for in a home. But the builder’s description does not establish how comfortable the home is year-round, how it performs in a particular climate, or how well its layout suits a particular household.

The published Thicket information provides no energy-performance data or named resident account of long-term use. Treat “full-time living” as the builder’s intended use, and ask for project-specific details about insulation, heating, utilities and site conditions before deciding whether a similar custom home would work for you.
Can you buy this exact Thicket design?
Rewild describes its homes as individually designed and built to order. The company says previous gallery builds can inform a new project, but it does not typically reproduce them, and its FAQ says it does not offer plans online. The Thicket is therefore best understood as a design example, not a standardized model confirmed as available unchanged for purchase.

Rewild says buyers can customize heating, layout, utilities, appliances, bathroom fixtures and off-grid capability. Those options may affect what a new home includes; general company information about insulation, heating or bathrooms should not be assumed to describe the Thicket unless confirmed in a project specification. How much does a Rewild tiny home cost?
Rewild publishes a broad range of CAD $90,000–$225,000 for finished homes and says shells start at CAD $40,000 plus tax. These are company-wide figures, not a price or quote for the Thicket. The builder says options and priorities affect the cost and invites prospective clients to ask for an estimate.

Because Rewild builds to order, request a written, project-specific estimate that explains what is included and how choices such as utilities, appliances, finishes and off-grid equipment affect the price.
How long could a custom build take, and what about towing?
Rewild says move-in-ready homes typically take four to six weeks for design, followed by 12 to 16 weeks to build once the trailer arrives. These are the builder’s general timelines, not a schedule guaranteed for a Thicket-based project.

The company also notes that a home’s weight varies with its dimensions, off-grid equipment, water storage and finishes. The Thicket page does not publish a weight or a towing specification. Before committing, ask the builder for the projected weight and dimensions of the actual build, then verify towing capacity, route constraints and site access for your vehicle and destination.

- Sleeping and storage: Confirm bedroom dimensions, closet capacity and what the loft is intended to store.
- Appliances and laundry: Clarify the included appliances, their fuel or power requirements, and the washer/dryer arrangement.
- Heating and utilities: Get the proposed system and utility connections in writing; ask how they fit your climate and whether the build is intended to operate off-grid.
- Transport and site: Obtain project-specific dimensions and weight, then check towing, access and placement requirements.
- Price and scope: Compare itemized estimates and what each includes rather than treating a company-wide range as a quote.
Rewild’s November 26, 2025 Thicket video-tour announcement provides another way to explore the design, but a tour does not replace specifications for a custom build.
