If the Quantum X roller brush stops or the power head shuts off, unplug the vacuum, remove anything caught in the brush until it turns freely, and press the red reset button on the back of the power head. Then reconnect power and try again. For other problems, limit home troubleshooting to cleaning and visible checks; stop and contact authorized service if the problem persists or the vacuum is damaged.
If the roller brush stops or the power head shuts off
The Quantum X owner guide says an object caught in the roller brush can make it bog down and shut off. Clear the obstruction before resetting the power head.
- Turn the vacuum off and unplug it from the outlet.
- Remove caught objects from the roller brush. Continue only when the roller turns freely.
- Press the red reset button on the back of the power head.
- Reconnect the vacuum to power and try it again.
If the reset does not resolve the problem, stop repeating it and contact Quantum X service. Do not open electrical components.
If the air/water separator has buildup
Clean the air/water separator as needed with an ordinary soft toothbrush, soap, and water, following the Quantum X Instructions Manual. The guide identifies this part as a separator; it does not establish that it is a replaceable filter or recommend routine replacement-filter purchases.

If the water basin is dirty or smells
- Empty the dirty water after vacuuming; do not leave it sitting in the basin.
- Wash the basin with soap and water.
- Dry it completely before storing it attached to the vacuum. If it is still damp, store it separately until dry.
If the vacuum will not operate or looks unsafe
With the vacuum unplugged, you can check visible assembly and whether the basin is seated correctly. Do not run the vacuum if its cord or another part is damaged. The owner guide says a damaged power cord must be replaced by an authorized Quantum X service technician. Do not splice the cord, open the motor, or bypass a safety feature.
If pickup is poor or the problem persists
The owner guide does not provide a complete weak-pickup diagnostic sequence. You can check visible assembly and accessible obstructions, but if that does not resolve the issue, contact service rather than assuming the cause is a clogged filter, belt, or motor fault. The available model-specific guidance does not establish a belt replacement procedure or part number.

Contacting Quantum X service
The 2018 owner guide lists Quantum X service at (844) 324-1411, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Central Time. Confirm that the number and hours are current before calling. The guide identifies IntelliClean Solutions, LLC as the warrantor and describes a three-year limited warranty for the original purchaser, subject to its terms. Because the guide dates to 2018, check your purchase date and current applicable terms with service rather than assuming the vacuum remains covered.

Quantum X is a corded water-basin vacuum. The manufacturer’s current FAQ focuses predominantly on the separate Quantum W model, so do not apply its battery, warranty, or operating guidance to a Quantum X.
