What is Eglinton Village, and where is it?
Eglinton Village is a residential development by Cedar Woods in Eglinton, in Perth’s north-western coastal corridor. Cedar Woods’ 2021 acquisition announcement described an 86-hectare site and a plan for more than 1,200 lots. Transport, shops and planned amenities
Cedar Woods’ current project page says Eglinton Station has opened and is within walking distance of the development. That wording is more useful than the station-opening forecasts in the company’s 2022 and 2023 announcements, which gave different expected dates. The developer’s house-and-land package page promotes packages about 500 metres from the station and a three-minute drive from the beach. These are developer-supplied descriptions; check the exact location and route for any particular lot or package. House-and-land options: what to verify
Cedar Woods advertises house-and-land packages at Eglinton Village, but its online material does not establish a live, comprehensive inventory of lots, package prices or inclusions. Availability and terms can change. Before comparing options, ask the developer or builder for current written details and check:
- total package price, inclusions, exclusions and any site costs;
- builder, home design, lot size, orientation and any design or construction conditions;
- distance to the station, shopping centre and beach for the specific lot, not only the estate generally;
- which nearby facilities are open and which remain proposed or future.
Cedar Woods’ package listings are a starting point, not a substitute for confirming current availability and contract details.

What Cedar Woods says about its Eve energy network
Cedar Woods describes Eve as a community energy-sharing network developed with Zenith Energy. In the company’s case study, participating households may use rooftop solar and a community battery, and the stated target is for participants to obtain at least 50% of their home energy use from renewable solar.
