Vagabond Haven’s unnamed tiny house is a 7.2 m (23.7 ft) trailer-based retreat designed for two, with a single-level kitchen, bathroom and raised double bed. New Atlas reported the completed home on December 1, 2025, describing rooftop solar and a battery array alongside propane cooking, gas water heating, a wood stove and mini-split air conditioning. The report does not give system capacities, measured off-grid run time, a price or shipping details for this particular house.
How the compact layout makes room for two
The home is arranged on one level, with plywood finishes and an open-plan interior. The kitchen sits near the glazed entrance, placing the main work area close to the door and leaving the compact footprint to serve several functions.
- Kitchen: A sink, cabinetry, fridge and two-burner propane cooktop form the central kitchen area.
- Sleeping and lounging: A raised double bed is designed for two. It also serves as a daybed, with integrated storage beneath it.
- Bathroom: The compact bathroom includes a shower, vanity sink and composting toilet.
- Living space: An optional deck extends the usable outdoor area beyond the interior.
The design’s main space-saving choice is the raised bed: it combines sleeping and daytime seating while reserving the space below for storage. The arrangement is aimed at a couple rather than a larger household.
What off-grid equipment does it include?
New Atlas reports rooftop solar panels connected to a battery array, plus appliances and systems that use other energy sources. The equipment described for the house includes:

- Roof-mounted solar panels and a battery array
- A propane-powered, two-burner cooktop
- Gas water heating
- A fridge
- A wood-burning stove for heat
- A mini-split air-conditioning unit
- A composting toilet
The feature calls the home suitable for off-grid use, but does not state solar output, battery chemistry or capacity, appliance models, or measured energy use. It also gives no water-tank volumes or operating-duration data. The equipment list therefore describes what is reported as installed or included; it does not establish how long the house can operate independently under particular conditions.
Can the Vagabond Haven house be moved?
The structure is reported as trailer-based and relocatable, although the pictured example is installed on a plot. That establishes a trailer foundation, not a towing test, a permitted route, or suitability for every tow vehicle or destination. The optional deck and site setup are also distinct from the trailer itself.
Rank #2
New Atlas reports a black-painted spruce exterior. Optional extras for this house include furniture and cladding materials, greywater and fresh-water tanks, and rainwater harvesting. The report does not specify tank sizes or explain the installation arrangements, so those options should not be treated as a complete water-system specification.

New Atlas did not publish a price or shipping details for this unnamed house. Vagabond Haven’s current official listings cover other models and do not identify this featured home as an orderable model, so their prices or availability cannot be applied to it.
Rank #3
The builder’s official site describes ready-built and custom-build routes, as well as mobile, semi-mobile, non-mobile and modular categories. Its general guidance says in-stock ready-built models may be available within a few weeks and custom builds take about four to six months; those timelines are not a quote or schedule for this specific house. The Sunshine model page lists options such as a composting toilet, solar system, freshwater tank and pump, and rainwater harvesting, but that does not establish the brands or configuration used in the featured home.
For a project enquiry, the useful next step is to ask Vagabond Haven whether this exact design remains available, then request a written specification covering trailer and transport arrangements, installed energy and water equipment, options, and the delivered price. The published feature does not answer those questions.
