Before using a JLG T350 troubleshooting chart, match the manual to the machine’s product variant code (PVC) and serial number. JLG lists different T350 publications for different variants, so a fault code or repair instruction in one edition may not apply to another. Start with JLG’s technical-publication search and verify the document’s coverage against the machine identification plate.
Find the manual that matches your T350
Record the model, serial number, and PVC from the machine’s identification plate, then compare those details with the manual listing. JLG explains that a PVC identifies machines with the same configuration and can help locate documentation across serial-number breaks. Check publication type, language, revision or release date, and stated serial-number range as well as the model name.
JLG’s publication index lists T350 operation, service, and parts manuals for multiple PVCs. For PVC 2601, the index includes publication numbers 3122567600, 3122567400, and 3122567300, with release dates in December 2025 and January 2026. Those entries are not universal T350 manuals; other variants have different documents. Use the official JLG publication search to narrow by model, PVC, serial number, publication type, and language.
JLG also lists printed T350/T500J operation and safety manual item 3121197 and T350 global service manual item 3121198. Before ordering a print copy, confirm its assembly and serial-number coverage in the JLG manual listing. Physical stock and prices can change; fit is the essential check.

What the T350 fault code means depends on the manual
The cited T350/T500J operation manual, publication 31217420 for PVC 2007, uses single-digit user fault messages. Its table includes battery voltage too high or too low/system shutdown, no charge-system output, function cutback or power-module current limit, power module too hot, engine not running, and “Vehicle Requires Service.” Treat those descriptions as belonging to that manual edition—not as a code chart for every T350.
For that manual’s code 2 setup conditions, JLG directs the operator to return the platform to the stowed position and reposition the machine or reset the outriggers as required. If the fault persists, the manual refers to troubleshooting with a JLG analyzer. A separate T350/T500J service-manual result covers serial numbers 0030000001–0030012032 and also describes code 2 as a setup fault that may involve outriggers or leveling. Its serial-number boundary matters; do not combine its procedures with a different variant’s chart.
The cited operation manual warns that code 2 together with a tilt alarm can indicate potential tipping. It limits some functions and specifies that the boom must be fully retracted before lowering. Follow that sequence only when it is the instruction in the manual applicable to the machine; consult the matching manual and trained service personnel for other situations. The manual’s fault descriptions are available in the cited T350/T500J operation manual.
Use a safe, useful troubleshooting process
- Identify the machine: Write down the model, serial number, and PVC from the identification plate.
- Record the symptom: Note the displayed code or flash pattern, whether it appears at the platform or ground controls, and what the machine was doing when it appeared.
- Open the applicable publication: Use JLG’s publication search and confirm the PVC, serial range, document type, and revision before applying a code table or procedure.
- Follow only that manual’s operator-level checks: Do not transfer a procedure from another T350 generation or improvise repairs on electrical, hydraulic, or safety systems.
- Escalate persistent or safety-related faults: Contact qualified JLG service when the applicable manual calls for analyzer diagnosis or service, or when a fault remains after its permitted checks.
T350 charger faults and charging precautions
The cited 31217420/PVC 2007 operation manual gives these Delta-Q charger red-flash meanings. They apply to that charger table and edition, not automatically to a different charger or T350 variant.
| Red flashes | Meaning in the cited manual |
|---|---|
| 1 | High battery voltage |
| 2 | Low battery voltage |
| 3 | Charge timeout |
| 4 | Check battery |
| 5 | Over-temperature |
| 6 | QuiQ fault |
For six flashes, the manual says to check that batteries and connections are not faulty, interrupt AC power for at least ten seconds, and observe whether fault 6 returns. If it recurs after those checks, the charger must go to a qualified service depot. Do not open or disassemble the charger or attempt electrical repairs.

For charging, the same manual instructs the operator to park in a well-ventilated area, connect the charger only to a properly grounded outlet, and disconnect AC before making or breaking battery connections. It identifies the green charger status light as indicating a full charge. Use the current machine decal and serial-matched manual if they differ from this older edition. See the JLG operation manual source.

A symptom alone does not establish a cause. A no-start, no-charge, or disabled function can have different explanations depending on the machine configuration and displayed message. Use the code, the relevant manual’s fault table, and the prescribed operator checks rather than assuming that a symptom maps to one repair.
- If the display says “Engine Not Running,” treat that as the cited manual’s message, not a diagnosis of the underlying cause.
- If a charging fault appears, count the charger’s flashes and use the charger table in the matching manual.
- If “Vehicle Requires Service” appears, or a code persists after the manual’s stated checks, stop short of unlisted repairs and arrange qualified service.
- If a code occurs with a tilt alarm, treat it as a safety condition and follow only the applicable manual’s instructions.
JLG T350 specifications and official resources
JLG describes the T350 as a Tow-Pro towable boom lift. Its current product page lists an 11.7 hp gasoline engine, 18 ft 9 in horizontal outreach, 500 lb unrestricted platform capacity, 34 ft 5 in maximum platform height, 20% gradeability, and 410° swing.
