Rihanna’s Beverly Hills mansion is the contemporary-style home she bought in 2021 for a reported $13.8 million. Architectural Digest describes a roughly 7,600-square-foot residence with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, set on gated, hedge-lined grounds above Beverly Hills with views over Coldwater Canyon.
Where is Rihanna’s Beverly Hills mansion?
The main residence sits above Beverly Hills overlooking Coldwater Canyon, on grounds of about half an acre, according to Architectural Digest’s March 2021 report. The publication said Rihanna purchased the home off-market for $13.8 million. A January 2026 Architectural Digest overview later described the house as about 7,600 square feet, with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, and reported that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky mainly reside in Beverly Hills. That is published reporting about their residence, not independent confirmation of legal ownership or continuous occupancy.
Architectural Digest’s 2021 account of the main residence and its January 2026 overview of Rihanna’s homes are the sources for those details.
What does the house look like?
Architectural Digest characterizes the home’s architecture as contemporary. Its most distinctive reported feature is an open-air central courtyard, which brings the outdoor spaces into the heart of the house rather than treating them as a separate backyard amenity.

Courtyard and outdoor entertaining
The 2021 report describes a pool, hot tub and fire pit in the courtyard, along with outdoor entertaining areas. It also notes the gated, hedge-lined setting. These details help explain the home’s indoor-outdoor character, but they are descriptions from published coverage rather than findings from an independent inspection.
Interior spaces
Architectural Digest also reports a home gym and a main suite with a large walk-in closet and terrace. Realtor.com’s 2025 report gives a slightly different area figure—approximately 7,700 square feet—and says a prior property listing described a chef’s kitchen, gym, cocktail bar, family room, primary-suite patio, soaking tub, pool and cabana. Those extra room and amenity details come from listing language, which is promotional copy, not independent verification. The publications’ area figures are close but not identical; Architectural Digest’s account puts the main home at just over 7,600 square feet.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is the house next door part of the mansion?
No. The neighboring property was a separate 1930s Tudor-style house, not an extension of the contemporary main residence. Architectural Digest reported in April 2021 that Rihanna bought that house for $10 million. The publication described the two properties together as covering about an acre and totaling more than 11,000 square feet; those are combined figures and should not be mistaken for the size of the main mansion.

The reporting therefore distinguishes the retained main home from the neighboring house that was sold; it does not support describing both as a current two-house compound.
