Michael B. Jordan’s Encino farmhouse was listed for $12,998,000 in January 2023—the source of the rounded “$13 million” figure, not a confirmed sale price. Realtor.com reported a new asking price of $10.245 million in July 2026, and its September 2026 listing snapshot still showed that price. The property’s reported features range from a 20-foot entry door to a guest house, pool and soundproof theater.
Why the house is described as a $13 million home
The figure refers to the asking price when the home was listed in January 2023. Zillow’s property history records that listing at $12,998,000, while Architectural Digest described it as just under $13 million. Neither figure establishes that the property sold for that amount. Architectural Digest’s January 2023 feature covered the listing, and Zillow’s property history records the price events.
What the Encino farmhouse is like
Architectural Digest described a gated compound on about half an acre, with a charcoal-gray farmhouse-style exterior, an attached three-car garage and a 20-foot wood-paneled front door. The indoor-outdoor design includes floor-to-ceiling sliding doors, while the amenity list extends well beyond the main house.
Reported features and amenities
- A pool with an attached spa, an outdoor kitchen and a cabana with a fireplace.
- A two-story guest house and a massage room.
- A gym, soundproof theater and elevator.
- An attached three-car garage and a 20-foot entry door.
Realtor.com’s July 2026 description also highlights a kitchen with Miele appliances, oak cabinetry and two islands, as well as a floating staircase and elevator connecting three levels. These are details from separate accounts of the property; the descriptions should not be read as a single independently verified building specification. Realtor.com’s July 2026 report provides the later listing description.

Why published square-footage figures differ
Architectural Digest’s January 2023 feature described the home as approximately 12,300 square feet, with eight bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and four half-baths. Realtor.com reported nearly 11,600 square feet in July 2026; its September listing snapshot specified 11,599 square feet, eight bedrooms and a 0.51-acre lot. The sources give different area figures, so neither number should be presented as a confirmed change in the home’s size.
