Disconnect power before opening the dryer

DV45H-series drum-removal sequence
The following is a high-level outline for the cited DV45H-series service procedure only. Use the matching guide for the complete instructions and fasteners.
- Remove the top cover.
- Remove the console.
- Remove the front panel, Plate (u), and front bulkhead. These are the part names used in the cited DV45H-series listing; confirm the corresponding components and order in your model’s service guide.
- Remove the belt. Follow the guide’s directions for releasing it rather than pulling on the drum or wiring.
- Remove the drum. With the belt and listed front components removed, take the drum out as directed by the model-specific manual.
Wiring and belt routing during reassembly
The DV45H7000EW/A2 listing mentions disconnecting the moisture-sensor wiring harness while removing the drum front. If your exact guide calls for disconnecting a harness, follow its instructions and avoid pulling on wires or terminals.

Reassembly requires correct belt routing. The cited DV45H manual says to position the belt between two red arrows. That alignment marker is specific to the described manual; do not expect it on every Samsung dryer. Check the matching guide before reinstalling the drum and closing the cabinet.
