Its honeycomb structure opens accordion-style when pulled from the edges, turning a compact piece of furniture into a longer bench that can be arranged in curves and other shapes. The makerโs catalog describes versions for up to 16 people, but older measurements and load ratings should not be treated as current specifications.
What is FlexibleLove?
FlexibleLove is a seating design built around a flexible honeycomb structure. DAZ Design A to Z identifies Chishen Chiu as the designer of the classic model and describes the name as a contraction of โflexible love-seat.โ The concept is furniture that can shift from a compact seat to shared seating without requiring a fixed-length bench. DAZโs classic product page
How does the chair expand?
Pulling at the edges opens the honeycomb structure accordion-style; pushing it back together contracts it. The structure lets the seat extend and form shapes such as S-curves or circles, according to DAZ. That makes it adaptable to a room layout or gathering, though the catalog description does not establish a detailed current opening, closing, or care procedure. DAZโs brand overview
How many people can FlexibleLove seat?
DAZ lists a classic eight-person model and describes a product range from one person up to 16. Its catalog calls the largest model suitable for up to 16 people. Those are catalog capacity claims, not a guarantee that every configuration will be comfortable for that many people; available space, body size, and how the seat is arranged matter. Confirm the capacity of the specific version with a current seller or manual.

What should you check before buying or using one?
- Current dimensions and capacity: Ask for the specification for the exact model and version. Do not rely on figures published in 2010.
- Price and availability: Check a current seller for stock, delivered price, shipping terms, and returns. New Atlasโs UK pricesโยฃ220 for Model 8 and ยฃ390 for Model 16โwere reported in 2010 and are not current price guidance.
- Use and safety guidance: New Atlasโs 2010 article warned against children jumping or walking on the chair and against outdoor use or use near fire. Treat those as historical cautions, not a substitute for the current manufacturerโs instructions. A user guide surfaced as a 2017 document, but its detailed instructions could not be verified here. Follow the guide that applies to the chair you receive.
- Handling and fit: Make sure there is room for the seatโs full extended length and the shape you intend to make, and verify its weight if you will need to move it often.
