It is an automatic drip brewer designed for both single servings and batches, with customizable brew profiles and app support. Fellow promotes control over temperature, timing and water flow, but those are company claims—not independent test results.
What is the Fellow Aiden coffee maker?
Aiden is Fellow’s first drip coffee brewer. It aims to combine automatic brewing with some of the guidance and customization associated with pour-over: Fellow says the machine manages temperature, timing and water flow, and includes a bloom cycle. You can use its built-in guidance or customize brew profiles. The machine can also operate without the app.
Fellow’s current product page lists scheduling, Brew Profile management, notifications, device updates and automatic syncing of profiles from Fellow Drops coffees among the app features. Availability can depend on location or app version; check the current product and app details before buying.
Fellow also describes a cold-brew profile that uses a hot bloom followed by a slow drip and is ready in 90 minutes. That is a description of the mode, not an independently verified brewing-time or taste test.

What does it cost, and is $365 still the price?
No. Fellow announced the Aiden presale at $365 on April 12, 2024, and repeated that price in its September 5, 2024 release announcement. Fellow’s US product page lists $399.95 as of October 8, 2026; price and availability can change. Check Fellow’s current Aiden listing before purchase.
The 2024 launch price is useful historical context, but it is not the current listed price. Whether the current price makes sense depends on how much you value switching between single-cup and batch brewing, custom profiles and automated controls. The available information does not establish independent comparative performance or a precise value advantage over other brewers.

Can it brew one cup and a full pot?
Yes. Fellow lists a maximum capacity of 1.5 L, or up to 10 cups, and describes the brewer as suitable for single servings through carafe batches. Its removable water tank, double-wall thermal carafe and no-drip basket are part of the design. For batch brewing, use the supplied thermal carafe: Fellow warns that brewing a batch into another vessel can create an overflow risk.
Fellow says there is 16 cm of clearance below the spout for mugs. That does not remove the batch-brewing restriction; use the carafe for a full batch.

What filters fit the Aiden?
Fellow says the single-serve basket takes standard #2 cone filters, while the batch basket takes standard 8–12 cup basket filters. The machine includes cone and flat-bottom filters, so proprietary filters are not necessary for the stated compatible formats.
Does the Aiden have a built-in grinder or scale?
No. Fellow’s support information says neither a grinder nor a scale is built in. A grinder is optional if you use pre-ground coffee; if you want to brew whole beans, you will need a separate grinder. This means the listed brewer price does not include whole-bean grinding equipment.

How much counter and cabinet clearance does it need?
Fellow lists the Aiden at 8.94 × 8.94 × 12 inches, with a height of 18.5 inches when the lid is open. Check the space above the brewer as well as its footprint before placing it beneath cabinets. Fellow’s support page, dated October 6, 2026, also lists its weight as 9.6 lb.
What should buyers know about warranty and availability?
Fellow’s current product page describes a two-year standard warranty with an option to extend. Its 2024 release said registration could extend coverage to three years. Because eligibility and registration terms can vary, confirm the rules for your location with Fellow before relying on an extension. The product page currently lists Storm Blue, Matte Black, Matte White, Malted Chocolate, Sesame and Woodland; color selection and stock may change.
