Who books the elevator and checks building access?
VC Movers says it coordinates elevator booking as part of its apartment process, but you should confirm who makes the reservation and whether the building requires the resident to submit it. Building policies differ, so check the move-in or move-out time window, loading access and any rules for protecting elevators, floors or the lobby. Confirm the arrangements for both origin and destination buildings.

How to compare quotes and check the provider
Compare written quotes by what they include rather than by the hourly figure alone. Ask each mover to state crew size, expected hours, truck charges, packing and material costs, treatment of stairs or long carries, and the insurance documentation available for your building. Confirm cancellation and rescheduling terms directly; those terms are not specified in the reviewed VC Movers pages.
