Rotating reamers
A reamer is a cone that spins as you press a halved orange against it. It is a compact, direct way to make juice now and then, but you supply the downward pressure. For a fast glass with pulp settings: Cuisinart CCJ-500
TechGearLab found the Cuisinart fast at producing a glass of orange juice, but reported that the BLACK+DECKER performed more efficiently in its test. Consider the Cuisinart if its pulp controls suit you, while checking which exact CCJ-500 version is listed and how much juice its container holds.
For maker-listed power and warranty terms: Zulay
Zulay’s listed 160W motor, noise figure, and limited lifetime warranty may be useful comparison points, but they are manufacturer specifications and terms—not independent performance findings. Confirm eligibility and conditions directly with the maker before relying on the warranty.

What the taste test can—and cannot—tell you
TechGearLab says it conducted a side-by-side taste test using two oranges per juicer and names Breville and BLACK+DECKER among its favorites for juice quality. That is a reviewer’s finding from its stated test, not a broad statistical conclusion or a guarantee that one model will taste better with different fruit. The comparison also reports that both the tested BLACK+DECKER and Cuisinart motors were noisy; it does not establish a noise level for either appliance.

Breville’s 800CP manual says “Valencia oranges are ideal for juicing.” It recommends fresh fruit with firm, smooth skins, says room-temperature fruit yields more juice, and advises rinsing removable parts promptly. These are the maker’s care and fruit-selection recommendations for that appliance, not results from a controlled produce study (Breville 800CP manual).
