Manufacturer-listed options include compact two-burner countertop units and a larger three-burner model; check the cutout, sink orientation, lid, fuel, and included fittings before you choose.
How to choose a sink-and-cooktop combo
Start with the galley, not the product photo. Measure the available counter and the cabinet below it, then compare both the appliance’s overall dimensions and its required worktop cutout. Those measurements are not interchangeable: the appliance may have a rim or other parts that extend beyond the opening.
- Measure the opening and the space below it. Check the manufacturer’s exact installation manual for the model and market. Allow for the sink and burner areas as well as any cabinet structure or plumbing below.

Dometic lists the CVC1700 RH at 700 × 350 mm, with two burners and a right-side sink. It is a useful compact-format example if that orientation matches your counter. Dometic describes it as a compact two-burner gas hob and right-sided sink combination on its product page; that is manufacturer product language, not an independent performance assessment. The tap is sold separately, so include it in your parts and installation plan.

Three burners and a lidded work surface: Thetford 353
The Australian-market Thetford 353 is available with a left- or right-hand sink, a 7.5 L stainless-steel basin, and three burners. Its split glass lid provides extra work surface when closed, according to Thetford. The documented worktop cutout is 962 × 389 mm, making it a larger fit commitment than the Dometic CVC1700 RH dimensions listed above. The drain and plug attachment are not included.
Propane option with a left-side sink: CAN Srl FL1410US
The FL1410US retailer listing specifies propane, two burners, a left-side sink, and a tempered-glass lid. Treat its cutout as approximate: the listing says cabinet depth varies across the sink and burner areas and points buyers to the installation manual. It also excludes several plumbing and gas-supply items, so confirm the exact required components before planning installation.

Exterior slide-out kitchens are a different category
Dometic’s slide-out products combine a sink and cooktop with a benchtop and storage, but they are exterior kitchen systems rather than countertop inserts for a compact interior galley.

Installation checks before buying
Use the installation manual for the exact model and market, rather than relying on a product-page dimension alone. Confirm these points against your RV and planned installation:
- Counter opening dimensions and available cabinet depth, including any variation around the sink and burner areas.
- Sink position and the room needed to use it alongside the burners.
- Fuel type, gas supply components, ignition power, ventilation, and required clearances.
- Drain, plug, tap, hose, regulator, and other fittings included with the particular listing.
- Whether the closed lid is suitable as a work surface under the manufacturer’s instructions.
For example, Dometic’s CVC1700 RH page lists a siphon and rubber seal but says the tap is not included; Thetford excludes its drain and plug attachment; and the CAN Srl FL1410US listing excludes faucet, drain hose, LP supply hoses, and low-pressure regulator. Do not assume a fitting or accessory listed for one model fits another. Dometic identifies DM-WT02 as an optional tap for the separate MO9722 product, but that does not establish compatibility with the combinations in this comparison.
