Mid-price option: MightyBite 8½-inch

LEM suggests a five-minute run time, and its page specifies a one-year warranty. That is a materially different stated duty window and warranty from the BigBite 10- and 12-inch models.

Longer stated sessions: BigBite 10-inch
LEM specifies a 30-minute run time, 330 watts, and a five-year warranty for the BigBite 10-inch. Those manufacturer specifications make it worth comparing for larger sessions, especially if removable feed-table, pusher, and blade components matter for cleaning. Its 39.55-pound listed weight is also relevant if you need to move or store the slicer between uses.
Larger blade and partially frozen meat: BigBite 12-inch
The BigBite 12-inch is the largest blade option in the current catalog and the highest-priced model in this comparison. LEM specifically includes partially frozen meat among its stated uses, along with boneless meat, cheese, and bread. Its listed 30-minute run time and five-year warranty are the same stated duration and warranty as the 10-inch; choose it for the larger blade and stated food fit, not on an assumption that it runs longer.

Food limits are model-specific
Do not infer that all LEM slicers can handle the same foods. LEM expressly says the 8½-inch model is not suitable for frozen foods, bones, or non-food items. By contrast, the BigBite 12-inch description includes partially frozen meat. The 7½-inch listing refers to boneless meat, cheese, and bread, while the cited BigBite 10-inch page does not establish a frozen-meat allowance. Follow the instructions for the exact model and avoid applying one model’s claims to another.

LEM advises using a cut-resistant glove when removing, cleaning, or handling a slicer blade. The BigBite 10-inch and 12-inch listings identify the feed table, pusher, and blade as removable; the cited pages do not provide equivalent removal details for every other model. Use the manual for your specific slicer for disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and operation.

For model 1511, LEM’s 2019 manual says: “Turn the appliance OFF, then unplug from the outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning.” That instruction is from the model 1511 manual and should not be treated as a substitute for the manual for a different model. Read LEM’s model 1511 manual.
Compare the warranty and purchase channel
LEM’s product information page describes a general minimum warranty of one year on parts and labor, excluding consumables and DVDs, but individual slicer listings specify their own terms. The 8½-inch model lists one year; the BigBite 10-inch and 12-inch list five years, each with lifetime support. Check the exact model’s current warranty before buying.
