How long is the Balsam Hill tree warranty?
Balsam Hill’s current US warranty page lists a three-year limited warranty for regular- and sale-priced artificial trees. It covers the frame, foliage, hinges, stand, and factory-installed lights, but excludes burned-out bulbs. Clearance trees have a 60-day limited warranty. Coverage is for the original owner and excludes normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, intentional alteration, and events beyond the company’s reasonable control. If a covered repair uses a user-installable replacement part, Balsam Hill says it may provide instructions. The replacement or repair is covered for the remaining warranty term or 60 days, whichever is longer. Because unauthorized self-repair may cause further damage and void coverage, contact the company before attempting a repair while the tree is under warranty.

What do Balsam Hill’s sustainability claims mean?
Balsam Hill describes a 2025 reNEW materials commitment for True Needle trees: each branch tip uses either 30% GRS-certified post-consumer recycled material or 95% plant-based polyethylene, according to the company. The statement is specific to the relevant True Needle products and production; Balsam Hill cautions that trees made before 2025 and traditional non-True Needle trees may not use these updated materials. Do not assume the claim applies to every tree in the catalog. The same product-information page attributes to the American Christmas Tree Association the statement that artificial-tree recycling programs did not then exist as of 2025.
