ANTHBOT’s robot mowers are organized around lawn size, yard layout, navigation preference, and whether you want clippings left on the lawn or collected. For a lawn of about 500 m², the company positions the M5 as a basic wire-free mowing option; the M9 is aimed at lawns around 1,000 m²; and the N8 adds collection and sweeping for larger, more demanding yards. These are ANTHBOT’s recommendations and specifications, not independently tested capacity or performance results.
What is in ANTHBOT’s current robot mower lineup?
ANTHBOT introduced its M/Mowie and N/Neat series at CES on January 9, 2026. The M-series is positioned for small to medium gardens and straightforward mowing without grass collection. The N8 is the collection-focused option. The company’s current collection also lists Genie configurations and the boundary-wire Pion, alongside M5, M9, N8, and M5 LiDAR. Model groupings and availability vary by region, so the collection is a lineup overview rather than a guarantee that every model is sold locally.
| Model or family | ANTHBOT’s stated role or lawn area | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| M5 | Up to about 500 m² | Wire-free mowing; ANTHBOT lists RTK, vision, 4G, and app control on its M5 product page. |
| M5 LiDAR | Small-to-medium lawns; no specific area figure stated in the CES announcement | Separate LiDAR-equipped M5 variant; the current collection describes a drop-and-mow setup that can take as little as 3 minutes, depending on the yard. |
| M9 | About 1,000 m² | M-series option for a larger lawn than the M5; the CES announcement identifies it as part of the new lineup. |
| M9 Pro | Up to 1,000 m² | ANTHBOT says it combines 360° LiDAR, RTK, NetRTK, and dual AI vision, supports automatic mapping, and can manage up to 32 mowing zones. |
| N8 | About 1,500 m² | Company-described 4-in-1 mowing, mulching, collecting, and sweeping, with a 23 L auto-dumping bin. |
| Genie models | Several lawn-area configurations | Listed in ANTHBOT’s current collection; check the local collection for the specific model and availability. |
| Pion | Not stated in the collection summary | Boundary-wire model listed alongside the wire-free options. |
ANTHBOT’s January CES announcement supports the M5, M9, and N8 positioning and the N8’s collection features (CES announcement). The expanded model listing and setup descriptions are in the current ANTHBOT collection. M9 Pro specifications and its launch dates are in the company’s July 20, 2026 press release: preorders began July 15 and official sales were scheduled to begin July 27, 2026. Those dates do not establish current stock.
How to choose the right ANTHBOT mower for your yard
1. Measure the grass that needs mowing
Measure the lawn itself, not the full property. Exclude buildings, driveways, patios, and planted beds, then compare the remaining area with the maker’s recommended range. ANTHBOT groups small lawns as up to 500 m², medium lawns as 500–1,000 m², and large lawns as 1,000 m² or more. Those categories are selection guidance, not independently verified maximum capacity.
#1 Best Overall
- Wire-Free Robotic Lawn Mower with LiDAR Navigation - GOAT A2000 LiDAR PRO is a wire-free robotic lawn mower that requires no perimeter wire or RTK antenna. The HoloScope 360° Dual-LiDAR system automatically maps your yard and delivers precise 2 cm positioning — even under trees, near fences, or in shaded areas where GPS mowers lose signal.
- Built-In Edge Trimming for Clean Borders - Unlike standard robot lawn mowers, this model features an integrated TruEdge trimmer for true edge-to-edge cutting. It trims along driveways, sidewalks, flower beds, and irregular lawn borders — reducing the need for manual string trimming after mowing. (Includes 2 rolls of trimming line, each covering approximately 3km of edging.)
- High-Power 32V Platform for Thick Grass - Designed for American lawns with Bermuda, Zoysia, Fescue, and St. Augustine grass. The 32V motor and dual-blade disc system provide stronger cutting torque and faster blade rotation, helping this robotic mower handle dense, fast-growing grass and uneven terrain.*Compared to previous GOAT models, based on ECOVACS lab testing.
- Fast Charging Robotic Mower for Medium to Large Yards - Equipped with a durable 3.0Ah battery and 113.4W fast charging, this robot lawn mower recharges in about 50 minutes. Ideal for homeowners looking for automated lawn care with minimal downtime and consistent scheduled mowing performance.
- Smart App-Controlled Lawn Mower with Custom Zones - Control your smart lawn mower through the ECOVACS app. Create multiple mowing zones, set no-go areas, adjust cutting height and speed, define travel paths between zones, and customize mowing schedules. Designed for complex yard layouts and personalized lawn care.
- For a lawn around 500 m², compare the M5 and, if its navigation fits your yard, the M5 LiDAR.
- For a lawn around 1,000 m², compare the M9 and M9 Pro specifications available in your region.
- For a larger lawn where collecting clippings or debris matters, consider the N8’s stated 1,500 m² recommendation and collection system.
2. Match navigation to the yard
ANTHBOT recommends RTK plus vision for open lawns, while it positions LiDAR plus vision as better suited to enclosed, shaded, or more complex gardens. A boundary-wire mower such as the Pion may suit someone who prefers a fixed physical perimeter. “Wire-free” does not mean one navigation approach will work equally well in every yard: buildings, tree cover, obstacles, and boundaries all affect the choice.
3. Check passages, corners, and obstacles
Walk the mower’s likely route and note narrow passages, tight corners, changes in level, and obstacles. A compact mower may be easier to place in a constrained layout; stronger mapping and navigation may matter when the route is less straightforward. Use the dimensions and navigation details for the exact regional model rather than assuming that a broad family label guarantees access through a particular passage.

- Fully Automated Lawn Care – Set It and Forget It. From intelligent path planning to automatic recharging, the mower handles everything on its own. Enjoy a hands-free lawn care experience, saving time and effort while maintaining a perfectly trimmed lawn every day.
4. Decide what should happen to clippings
ANTHBOT describes standard models as mowing and mulching, leaving fine clippings on the lawn. The N8 adds collection and sweeping as well as mowing and mulching, so it is the more relevant option if you want material gathered instead of left in place. Its 23 L auto-dumping bin is a manufacturer specification, not an independently measured collection result.
5. Treat setup times as estimates
ANTHBOT says M5 and M9 wire-free setup takes about 10 minutes and that M5 LiDAR’s drop-and-mow setup can take as little as 3 minutes. These company-stated times should not be read as a promise for every garden; layout and conditions can affect setup.

What the M5 offers—and what to verify before buying
The M5 is a useful point of comparison for a smaller lawn: ANTHBOT describes it as a wire-free mower for up to 500 m² with RTK, vision, 4G, and app control. Its product page lists an M5 package, an M5 plus garage package, and an M5 plus blades and RTK wall-mount kit package. The page says Network RTK access is included through built-in 4G without an additional subscription. It displayed a US price of $649 when reviewed; price and availability can change, and the listed price should not be treated as current for every region.
Before ordering, confirm which package is available where you live, what it includes, and whether the seller is authorized. The available evidence does not establish a regional Amazon listing, live marketplace stock, a specific replacement-blade part number, or affiliate eligibility. ANTHBOT advises checking blade wear and replacing parts as needed; match any replacement blades to the exact mower model before purchase.

Newer and show-floor features need context
ANTHBOT’s M9 Pro release describes a navigation system combining 360° LiDAR, RTK, NetRTK, and dual AI vision, plus automatic mapping and management of up to 32 mowing zones. These are company claims. They may help a buyer compare feature sets, but they do not establish how the mower performs in a particular yard.
A September 5, 2026 TechRadar report on ANTHBOT’s R7 IFA demonstration described an arm-mounted string trimmer called EdgeEase and infrared animal detection. The demonstration took place on artificial turf and did not show actual cutting. EdgeEase should therefore be understood as a demonstrated design, not proven edge-trimming performance.
