Tori Spelling’s documented residences range from her parents’ Holmby Hills mansion, where she says she lived briefly as a teenager, to homes she bought with Dean McDermott and later reported rentals. The public record supports a timeline of notable homes—not a complete inventory of every place she has lived.
At a glance: Tori Spelling’s reported homes
| Home and location | Relationship to the home | Period supported by reporting | What is established |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Manor, Holmby Hills | Her parents’ home | About two years, beginning when she was around 17 | Spelling described living there as a teenager; she said she did not grow up in the mansion. (EL PAÍS, 2022) |
| Encino | Home purchased with Dean McDermott | Bought in 2008; sold in 2011 | The Los Angeles Times reported the purchase, sale and property size in 2011. |
| Malibu | Home purchased with McDermott | Purchase reported in fall 2011; departure date not established | The Los Angeles Times reported the purchase and property description in 2011. |
| Hidden Hills home | Residence referenced in later reporting | Period not established | A 2024 Realtor.com account, citing the Daily Mail, linked a mold issue there to a subsequent move sequence. |
| Woodland Hills | Former short-term rental | Reported by Realtor.com in January 2024 | The listing was offered at $16,500 per month; that was the asking price, not a confirmed rent paid by Spelling. |
| California rental understood to be in Calabasas | Reported rental | Reported in February 2026 | Realtor.com described the location as understood to be Calabasas and estimated rent at around $12,000 per month. |
The Manor in Holmby Hills: a short stay in her parents’ mansion
The Manor—also known as “Candyland”—was the Holmby Hills mansion owned by Tori Spelling’s parents, Candy and Aaron Spelling. Spelling later addressed a common misconception about her time there. In an interview on the 90210MG podcast with Jennie Garth, as quoted by EL PAÍS, she said, “The biggest misconception is that I grew up in the house.” She added, “We moved there when I was like 17. So I spent like two years there.”
That account describes a teenage residence lasting roughly two years, not her childhood home throughout her upbringing. EL PAÍS reported the mansion’s size as 56,500 square feet in 2022; the Los Angeles Times also gave that figure in 2011 and reported that the home was completed in 1991.
When the estate was sold in 2011, the Los Angeles Times reported that Candy Spelling planned to move to a 16,500-square-foot penthouse condo in Century City. That was Candy’s move; the reporting does not establish that Tori lived in the condo.

Encino: the clearest documented purchase and sale
The Los Angeles Times reported that Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott bought a six-bedroom Encino home in 2008 for $2.945 million and sold it in 2011 for $2.5 million. The 6,718-square-foot house appeared in their reality series Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood. Realtor.com later identified the buyer as Jermaine Jones and also connected the property to the show.
These reports establish the couple’s purchase and sale, not any current ownership. The sale price and purchase price are nominal figures from different years, not an inflation-adjusted comparison.
Rank #2
Malibu: a reported 2011 purchase
The Los Angeles Times reported that the couple bought a Malibu home in fall 2011 for $2.4 million. The three-bedroom house was described as 2,300 square feet on about 1.75 acres. The reviewed reporting does not establish when they left the property or whether it was later sold, so its subsequent history is unclear.
Hidden Hills, temporary stays and a Woodland Hills rental
A January 2024 Realtor.com article described a former short-term rental in Woodland Hills that was listed for $16,500 a month. It characterized the property as a three-bedroom main house with a one-bedroom guesthouse. The listing price is not evidence of what Spelling paid or how long she stayed.

The same article attributed a broader move sequence to the Daily Mail: a mold issue at a Hidden Hills home, followed by stays in motels and an RV, then the Woodland Hills rental. That account is secondary reporting; the available timeline does not independently establish the dates, duration or details of each stay.
The latest reported rental: a qualified Calabasas-area account
In February 2026, Realtor.com reported that Spelling lived in a California rental understood to be in Calabasas, with estimated rent of around $12,000 per month. Both details are qualified: the location was described as “understood to be” Calabasas, and the rent was an estimate. The report does not verify a rental contract, a specific address or that she still lived there on any later date.

What the public timeline can—and cannot—show
Published reporting identifies several significant residences, but it does not provide a complete, independently verified list of every house Spelling has occupied. The strongest documented ownership chronology is the Encino home bought in 2008 and sold in 2011. The Malibu purchase is also reported, but its later history is not established here. The later rental accounts are dated reports with varying levels of certainty, rather than proof of a complete or current residence history.
