Air assist and positioning
The machine has integrated air assist. Creality says airflow can be adjusted manually with the machine’s knob and automatically through LightBurn. The company also advertises offline positioning preview and TF-card operation. These are useful workflow options to consider, but they do not establish how quickly or accurately a particular production job will run.
Work area
The listed 400 × 415 mm area is the relevant planning limit for laying out a project. Check the dimensions of the actual workpiece and design, including any clearance needed to position it, rather than assuming a larger sheet will fit or can be processed in one setup.

What materials does Creality list?
Creality’s materials guide describes engraving or cutting uses for various nonmetal materials, including wood, bamboo, slate, cardboard, leather, fabric, paperboard, felt, ceramics, and acrylic. It also lists engraving stainless steel, anodized aluminum, and painted metal. These broad categories are not a guarantee that every material formulation, coating, color, or thickness will produce a suitable result.
Creality warns against processing PVC and materials containing chlorine, chloride, or phenolic resin because they may release harmful fumes. It also advises against processing unknown materials. Identify the material and any coatings or binders before use; do not treat a familiar-looking sheet as safe simply because its base material seems suitable.

Example settings are starting points, not validated results
Creality’s settings guide includes example combinations of material, thickness, power, speed, and passes. For instance, it gives 40% power at 6,000 mm/min for one pass as an example for 2 mm basswood engraving, and 35% power at 6,000 mm/min for one pass for 3 mm walnut plywood. These are manufacturer-published settings, not independently reproduced tests. Material composition, focus, ventilation, and machine condition can affect the result, so a setting should not be treated as a guarantee of cut quality or completion.
What safety provisions are described?
Creality identifies airflow, lens, and flame monitoring, and describes bidirectional limit switches, active stop, a security lock design, an emergency stop button, and a laser protective cover. These are maker-described features; they do not make operation risk-free. The official guide classifies the Falcon2 22W as Class IV, so follow the current manual and applicable laser-safety practices, maintain attentive supervision, and provide an appropriate setup for containing exposure and handling smoke or fumes.

Material choice is part of that setup: Creality’s warning about PVC, chlorine- or chloride-containing materials, phenolic resin, and unknown materials should be followed even if a job otherwise appears compatible.
