De’Longhi also lists dehumidifier and fan modes, a smart sensing remote, and a two-year warranty. Those are manufacturer specifications and claims—not evidence of how well this model cools, how loud it is in a room, or how reliably it handles condensate.
What the PAC EX390LVYN is
De’Longhi identifies the PAC EX390LVYN as its Arctic Whisper Extreme portable air conditioner on its official U.S. product page. It is a single portable unit intended to provide cooling, dehumidification, and fan operation. The page lists a window kit among the included items, but installation compatibility depends on the window and the supplied kit.

These figures are listed by De’Longhi for the U.S. model; the two cooling-capacity numbers use different rating conventions and should not be treated as equivalent. The product page also lists airflow as 206, noise pressure level as 52, and dehumidification as 170 L/day, but the extracted listing does not provide the units or measurement conditions needed to interpret those entries. They are therefore not useful as stand-alone comparisons.

De’Longhi describes this as a 3-in-1 appliance with air-conditioning, dehumidifier, and fan modes. The page also lists three fan speeds and a 24-hour timer. These are listed functions; they do not establish how quickly it cools a particular room or how much moisture it removes under a given set of conditions.

Cool Surround smart sensing remote
The Cool Surround feature uses a smart sensing remote to monitor temperature and humidity around the remote, with the unit adjusting based on those readings. De’Longhi says the feature is intended to direct cooling toward the person holding the remote. That is a description of the manufacturer’s intended operation, not an independently verified result.
Eco Real Feel and noise claims
De’Longhi advertises Eco Real Feel as saving “up to 30%” on energy consumption and says Arctic Whisper Extreme reduces noise “by up to 3dB’s,” with “up to 50% noise reduction versus maximum fan speed.” The product page does not provide the test conditions or independent validation for these claims, so they should not be read as guaranteed savings or a measured room-noise level.

No adequately documented independent test of this exact model establishes its real-world cooling, operating noise, energy use, condensate handling, or long-term reliability. A capacity figure alone also cannot guarantee comfort in a particular room: heat load, climate, installation, and room layout affect results, and the manufacturer listing does not establish performance for a specific space.

When assessing the PAC EX390LVYN against another portable air conditioner, compare capacity figures using the same rating convention. For practical fit, also check measured sound at stated modes and distance, power use, condensate handling, window-exhaust compatibility, dimensions, weight, warranty, and current price. The manufacturer’s U.S. page showed the model out of stock when accessed; that does not establish availability at other sellers or in other markets.
