Its October 5 update reports work advancing toward Bromley Humps, with the company targeting access to the area by year-end. The authorization is a permit milestone; the update does not identify a new construction award, contractor, or contract terms.
What the authorization allows
Cambria says the Fisheries Act Authorization (FAA) permits in-stream construction work in Bitter Creek. A section of an earlier road washed away during a 2013 storm. The company reported receiving the final authorization on September 21, 2026. Cambria Gold Mines’ October 5, 2026 update
The permit milestone should not be confused with a construction award. Cambria’s update does not establish that a new award was made, and it does not name the road-building contractor or disclose contract value or terms.
Where construction stands and what comes next
Cambria reports that its construction team and road-building contractor are advancing toward Bromley Humps, near the base of Red Mountain. The target area is approximately 12 km from Highway 37A. Cambria Gold Mines’ October 5, 2026 update
