When and where to tour
The 2026 Fall Parade of Homes is scheduled for four afternoons: October 17–18 and October 24–25, noon–5 p.m. The current official event website and the Metro Omaha Builders Association event calendar list those hours. Admission is free and the event is open to the public.
What the 2026 showcase includes
The official event overview lists 54 newly constructed homes in 42 developments, with listed prices from $387,000 to $1.4 million. These are figures published for the 2026 event, not an independently audited measure of Omaha-area housing inventory or market prices. Check the current home listings for individual prices, which may change.
The homes offer a chance to see a range of architectural styles, creative designs, and features in person. The published overview does not provide a consistent feature-by-feature dataset, so a tour is best used to explore possibilities rather than to treat the homes as a formal ranking of construction quality or value.

How to plan a route and compare homes
The official home listings and event app can help visitors identify homes and organize a visit. The listings show builder, development, address, and listed price; the app promotes home and builder details, directions and route planning, and voting.
- Review the home listings and note the homes, builders, developments, locations, and prices that interest you.
- Use the event app’s details and directions to plan a route across the homes you want to visit.
- At each stop, record what you want to compare—such as layout, design choices, or features—alongside the published home details.
Because the event spans multiple developments and two weekends, choosing a manageable set of stops in advance can make it easier to spend time inside each home.

Who may find the tour useful
The official event describes the Parade as an opportunity to tour new homes, gather ideas, explore trends, and connect with local builders. It may be useful whether you are looking for a starter home, considering a future build, or seeking inspiration to reinvent your current home. You do not need to be actively shopping to attend.
For a practical comparison, focus on the details the event makes available—builder, development, location, and listed price—and on the design or features you can assess during a visit. The tour offers a view of new-home possibilities; it does not establish how a home will perform for a particular buyer or what a custom project would cost.
