Track3D says customers pay for progress tracking and receive visual documentation at no additional cost, up to five times the contracted tracking area. The company announced the change on October 6, 2026, and lists progress tracking at $0.15 per square foot per project. Eligibility and package scope remain subject to Track3D’s terms.

What changed in Track3D’s pricing?

Track3D’s October 6, 2026 announcement makes progress tracking the paid service and includes visual documentation at no additional cost for customers who use it. The stated price is $0.15 per square foot per project. Track3D’s pricing page, checked October 7, also displays $0.15 per square foot, but provides a sales contact rather than a detailed self-service schedule. Neither public page establishes a complete quote for every project.

The company says the model is available to new and existing customers, subject to applicable terms and eligibility criteria. The public materials reviewed do not specify minimum project size, exceptions, or the full contract terms. Confirm the applicable scope and price with Track3D before budgeting.

How much visual documentation is included?

Track3D says the no-added-cost visual coverage can reach five times the contracted progress-tracking area. For example, if a contract covers 100,000 square feet of progress tracking, the stated allowance would be up to 500,000 square feet of visual coverage. This illustrates the company’s ratio; it is not a quote or confirmation of eligibility for a particular project.

What does the progress-tracking service provide?

Track3D describes a workflow that turns routine site captures into progress data and compares that data with the project schedule. Its announcement says results are organized by level, trade, and area, with the aim of identifying completed work, activities slipping behind schedule, and stalled areas. The company says it works from standard 2D drawings without requiring BIM.

Track3D says progress data can be available as fast as six hours after capture, while visual documentation can be available as fast as 30 minutes. These are company-stated turnaround claims, not guaranteed service levels established by the public materials.

Do teams need special cameras or software?

Track3D’s trade-partner page says users can capture with common 360-degree cameras or mobile phones and that special equipment is not required. It names Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, and Microsoft SSO as integrations. Check with Track3D to confirm current integration details and availability for your account; the public descriptions do not establish a particular camera model as required or officially certified.

How might visual records support field and billing workflows?

Track3D positions visual evidence as a way to support progress verification, installation tracking, and billing documentation. Its trade-partner materials say progress can be followed by area, floor, or zone and that progress data can support billing accuracy and invoice approval. These are descriptions of intended product utility, not a guarantee of payment, approval, or dispute resolution.

What customer results has Track3D reported?

Track3D attributes $342,000 in labor savings and 2,964 hours of manual coordination eliminated to a Hensel Phelps project at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). Its March 2026 announcement also said three major reworks were prevented on the SFO Courtyard 3 Connector. These are company-announced customer figures; the cited materials do not independently audit them, so they should not be treated as typical or guaranteed results.

Track3D also said in its October announcement that 16 of ENR’s Top 30 contractors use its platform. The announcement does not provide a customer list or independent confirmation for that adoption claim.

What should contractors verify before signing?

  • Which project areas count toward the contracted progress-tracking area and the five-times visual allowance.
  • Whether the announced $0.15-per-square-foot rate applies to your project, and how the area and project are defined for billing.
  • Any minimums, exclusions, implementation requirements, or other terms that affect eligibility or total cost.
  • Whether the stated turnaround targets, integrations, drawing inputs, and capture options fit your project and are covered by written service commitments.
