Treat those as manufacturer-stated capabilities, not independently verified results: the material, thickness, cutter, and operation all matter.
What the Cubiko can handle—and how much fits
Genmitsu’s official collection lists the Cubiko’s working area as 150 × 110 × 40 mm. That is the space available to the workpiece, not a promise that every project of those dimensions will be convenient to fixture or machine. Before choosing a design, check its length, width, and height against the envelope and leave room for the way it must be secured.
That compact envelope makes the Cubiko a candidate for small parts, plaques, samples, and other projects that fit within the listed area. It is not the right format for a larger panel or component that exceeds those dimensions.
Materials and project types
Genmitsu describes Cubiko as supporting carving on wood and soft metal, and its feature page names MDF, plywood, bamboo, PCB, aluminum, copper, brass, gold, resin, nylon, carbon fiber, and acrylic. The company’s wording is: “Cubiko supports carving on various materials, including wood, soft metal, and more.” Genmitsu feature page.

This is a manufacturer material list, not independent validation of cut quality, precision, speed, or safe operating limits for every material and setup. Results depend on the specific stock, its thickness, the cutter, and the operation. The available product information does not establish which cutters are included or which third-party bit shanks fit, so check the current manual or confirm compatibility with Genmitsu before buying tooling.
PCB milling and height-map compensation
For PCB work, Genmitsu describes a height-map auto-leveling feature that samples multiple points on the board and compensates for surface-height variation. The feature is intended to help keep milling consistent across an uneven surface; the claim does not establish a measured accuracy or guarantee a particular board result.

Controls and enclosure features
Genmitsu describes control through a computer, its app, a built-in panel, and GRBL-compatible software. The feature page also lists automatic Z-probing and a stop when the door opens. These are useful workflow and convenience claims, but they do not replace checking the current manual for operation, setup, and safety instructions.
The manufacturer calls the machine “dust-free” and “low-noise.” Those are descriptive claims, not assurances that the enclosure captures all dust or eliminates noise and operating hazards. Plan for appropriate work-area protection and follow the machine’s safety guidance.

What optional modules add
The Cubiko’s basic CNC work is subtractive: a cutter removes material to carve or mill a design. Other tasks require different attachments and workflows, and should not be assumed to be included with the machine.

- Project size: Compare the workpiece with the listed 150 × 110 × 40 mm work area and consider how it will be secured.
- Regional package: The product page identifies model/SKU 101-60-CUBK-A, while localized variants also appear in Genmitsu’s official listing. Do not assume every regional package or electrical variant is identical.
- Included equipment: Confirm the contents of the specific listing, including cutters and any modules; the available product information does not establish a complete included-accessory list.
- Tooling fit: Confirm cutter and bit compatibility with the current manual or Genmitsu support rather than guessing from a general milling-bits category.
- Price and stock: Genmitsu’s product page displayed $349 alongside a crossed-out $499, while its collection displayed a $199 starting price. Those conflicting, changeable displays are not a reliable single current price. Check the live offer, stock, and variant for your country.
- Safety and performance: Use the current official manual for operating limits, dust control, and safe setup. The manufacturer’s material list is not a substitute for instructions for a specific job.
Is the Cubiko a fit for your work?
The Cubiko is worth considering when projects are small enough for its listed envelope and you want an enclosed desktop machine with several stated control options. Its listed materials and optional laser or drawing modules broaden the possible task types, but the modules are separate purchases and the material claims are not independent test results. If your work needs a larger bed, verified performance on a particular material, or confirmed tooling compatibility, resolve those requirements before choosing a package.
