What you get with the B57CR22N0B
NEFF specifies this UK-market model as a 60 × 60 cm, stainless-steel N70 single built-in electric oven. Its 71-litre usable cavity is paired with a 2.5-inch TFT colour display, illuminated Shift Control and 12 heating methods. These include CircoTherm, conventional heat, gentle fan, grilling, bread baking, pizza/intensive modes, low-temperature cooking and dough proving. Rapid heat and a cooling fan are also listed. NEFF’s B57CR22N0B specification is the source for these product details; its publication year is not stated.
The oven has four shelf positions and a full-glass inner door. NEFF lists a control-panel lock, a door lock during pyrolytic cleaning, automatic safety switch-off and a residual-heat indicator. The stated box contents are two combination grids and one universal pan.
Is Slide&Hide worth paying extra for?
The door retracts beneath the oven cavity when open, with a rotating handle. The practical benefit is clearer access to the oven opening without a conventional door projecting into the space in front of it. That may matter in a tight kitchen or when you regularly reach into the oven, but it is a convenience feature—not evidence of better cooking results.

Whether it is worth a premium depends on your layout and routine. If a standard hinged door is easy to work around, compare the price difference with newer ovens offering the capacity, heating modes and cleaning you need. The evidence available does not establish a current price premium for this model.
Cleaning: useful options, not maintenance-free
NEFF lists pyrolytic cleaning for heavier residue and EasyClean for day-to-day maintenance. Pyrolysis is the self-cleaning option; EasyClean is described by NEFF as a quick routine-cleaning approach. The specification does not state cycle duration or energy cost, so account for those as unknowns rather than assuming a particular running cost. The door locks during a pyrolytic cycle.

Will it fit your kitchen and electrical connection?
Measure the cabinet opening rather than relying on the nominal oven size. NEFF gives appliance dimensions of 595 × 596 × 548 mm and a required niche of 585–595 mm high, 560–568 mm wide and 550 mm deep. Confirm clearances and installation details against the installation manual before ordering. These figures come from NEFF’s specification, whose publication year is not stated.
The listed connected load is 3,450 W, with 16 A fuse protection, a 220–240 V supply and a 120 cm cable. NEFF says the oven has no plug and is connected by an electrician. Include the electrician’s charge, delivery, fitting and any removal costs when comparing the total installed price.

- Measure the niche height, width and depth, and check the installation manual for clearances.
- Ask a qualified electrician or installer to confirm the supply and connection arrangements for your kitchen.
- Get an installed quote that includes delivery, connection, removal of the old oven if needed, and warranty terms.
- Confirm the seller has this model in stock and check return conditions before purchase.
Energy label and capacity figures
NEFF’s undated specification gives a usable cavity volume of 71 litres and an A+ energy-efficiency rating under EU Regulation No. 65/2014. It lists energy consumption of 0.87 kWh per cycle in conventional mode and 0.69 kWh per cycle in fan-forced convection mode. These are manufacturer label/specification figures, not a forecast of your household bill or a comparison against a newer label scale.
How it compares with newer NEFF ovens
NEFF UK’s single-oven category lists newer N70 models, including B54CR71 and B54CR31 variants. NEFF also says its double ovens do not have Slide&Hide doors; its Seamless Combination approach stacks a compact oven with a Slide&Hide single to create a double-oven-style arrangement. Before choosing the older B57CR22N0B, compare the specific models and current installed quotes on the features that affect your use:
- Retracting Slide&Hide door versus a conventional door.
- Usable cavity size, heating modes and control layout.
- Cleaning functions and app or connected features, if wanted.
- Installation dimensions, electrical requirements and included accessories.
- Current price, warranty and installation cost.
Exact like-for-like feature sets and current comparative prices are not established here, so verify them with NEFF and the seller rather than assuming newer models are equivalent.

Accessories and package checks
NEFF’s specification lists two combination grids and one universal pan as included. Other accessories are optional and include trays, pans, grids and telescopic rails. Examples of NEFF part numbers are Z11AB15A0, Z11AU15A0, Z11CR10X0, Z12CB10A0, Z12TF16X0 and Z12TF36X0. Check the seller’s actual package and confirm compatibility with NEFF before buying extras.
What the 2021 review can—and cannot—tell you
T3’s Cynthia Lawrence reviewed the B57CR22N0B on 27 April 2021. The review praised the retracting door, cooking functions and pyrolytic cleaning, while noting that the model was already relatively old and describing it as expensive. Its stated starting price of £879, rising to £1,000, is historical and should not be treated as a current quote. The review also said the oven was not smart-connected and relayed minor user comments about the clock display being small and the timer alarm quiet. It is one dated editorial review, not a controlled test or a representative measure of owner satisfaction. Read the T3 review.

- Consider it if Slide&Hide makes access easier in your kitchen, you want a 71-litre single oven with varied cooking modes, and pyrolytic cleaning is useful to you.
- Compare alternatives first if you mainly want cooking performance and self-cleaning at the lowest price, or if app connectivity matters; the 2021 T3 review noted that similar cooking and self-cleaning were available for less.
- Do not order yet if you have not measured the niche, checked the electrical connection, or confirmed current stock and the total installed price.
