Pamela Anderson sold her Malibu Colony home for $11.8 million in August 2021 and returned to a family property in Ladysmith, on Vancouver Island. In 2022, she described a substantial restoration there—not a confirmed abandoned house. The available accounts do not verify the property’s ownership, occupancy or renovation status in 2026.
What happened to Pamela Anderson’s Malibu home?
Anderson sold the Malibu Colony property for $11.8 million in August 2021, according to Architectural Digest and the Los Angeles Times. She had bought it in 2000 for $1.8 million, the Times reported. The sale followed a March 2021 listing at $14.9 million.
The property had been offered for sale at $7.75 million in 2013 and later offered for rent at $40,000 a month, also according to the Times. Those earlier asking prices are part of its listing history; they are not sale prices.
A coastal home with multiple components
The Times described a wood-and-glass home with beach access, a sauna, garden, fire pit, floating staircases, guesthouse and pool. Its account calls the floor plan 5,500 square feet. Architectural Digest describes 5,500 square feet across the main house and guesthouse, on a 6,324-square-foot site. The figures use different descriptions of scope, so they should not be treated as a precise like-for-like measurement of the main house alone.

Where did Anderson go in British Columbia?
Anderson returned to a family property in Ladysmith, on Vancouver Island. In a November 2022 report, The Canadian Press said she had bought the property from her grandmother about 30 years earlier. The six-acre site included a roadhouse, boathouse and cabin.
She told The Canadian Press she hoped to make it a multi-generational home for her parents and sons. At the time of that interview, she described a $750,000 renovation budget and a 460-square-metre garden. These are details from the 2022 account, not confirmation of the project’s final cost or present-day condition.

Was the Vancouver Island house abandoned?
The available reporting supports saying the property needed significant work and was undergoing restoration in 2022. It does not establish that the house was legally or literally abandoned. Anderson called it “a broken heart” that she had to turn around, a metaphor for the property and her return—not a verified description of its occupancy or status.
Anderson also acknowledged that renovation decisions could go wrong: “Some ideas are really bad and some ideas don’t work and some things I’ve refinished and fixed and I waste a lot of money in solving those problems.” Her remarks describe the uncertainty and expense of restoration, but do not establish that the work was completed.

Netflix Tudum’s profile says Anderson lives in her childhood home in Ladysmith when she is between projects, but it does not verify whether that is the same property described in the 2022 restoration account or report its current condition. The sources available here do not confirm ownership, occupancy, completion or inspection status in 2026.

| Feature | Malibu Colony home | Ladysmith family property |
|---|---|---|
| Role | Coastal home with beach access and amenities, as described by the Los Angeles Times and Architectural Digest. | Family-rooted property Anderson said she hoped to make a multi-generational home, according to The Canadian Press in 2022. |
| Scale and components | Described as a 5,500-square-foot floor plan by the Times; Architectural Digest says 5,500 square feet across the main house and guesthouse, on a 6,324-square-foot site. | Six acres with a roadhouse, boathouse and cabin, as reported by The Canadian Press in 2022. |
| Known status in the cited accounts | Sold for $11.8 million in August 2021. | Undergoing restoration in the 2022 account; completion and current status are not stated. |
Architectural Digest attributed Anderson’s “time I went back to my roots” and “full circle” remarks to what she reportedly told PEOPLE while listing the Malibu home. The contrast in the accounts is clear: a sold coastal property and a restoration tied to family history. It does not establish that she currently owns or occupies the Ladysmith property.
Quick Recap
Best Value
- Durable Construction: Made from 1/8" Max-Metal, an aluminum composite material (ACM) with a polyethylene core and white-coated aluminum skins on each face — won't rot, warp, or fade like wood.
- Long Horizontal Size: Measures 15 × 5 inches — a 3:1 horizontal shape that fits above doorways, mantels, gallery walls, and narrow spaces where square signs feel cramped.
- UV-Printed Graphic — Not a Real Enamel, Linen, or Paper Sign: The artwork is a high-resolution UV-printed image on a smooth white aluminum face. It looks like a vintage porcelain-enamel sign, a linen travel postcard, or an old WPA travel poster from across the room but is actually a printed graphic — no rust, no chips, no paper to yellow or tear. UV ink is scratch- and fade-resistant for long-lasting color.
- Easy to Hang: Pre-drilled 3/16" mounting holes on each end for quick installation with screws, bolts, or zip ties (hardware not included).
- Proudly Made in the USA: Crafted by our family-owned business in Brownsburg, Indiana — supporting local manufacturing.
