Will an ATV snowblower fit my ATV?
Fitment is a measurement exercise, not a label. For the Bercomac 48-inch universal mount, the published requirements include a 2-inch rear ball hitch and a winch rated at least 1,000 lb. The manufacturer calls for an extension when the vehicle’s front-to-hitch measurement exceeds 106 inches and says the unit will not fit above 143 inches.
- Record the ATV or UTV make, model, year and configuration, including any cab, bumper, receiver or accessory changes.
- Measure the manufacturer’s specified front-to-hitch dimension; do not substitute wheelbase or an approximate tape measurement.
- Confirm that the vehicle has the required 2-inch hitch and a winch meeting the stated 1,000-lb minimum.
- Check payload, front-axle and suspension limits against the attachment’s published weight. The 48-inch model is listed at 350 lb, the Versatile 54-inch at 645 lb and the Premium 54-inch at 750 lb.
- Send those measurements and photographs of the mounting area to a dealer or the manufacturer, then verify the current manual before ordering.
The Premium description says its dolly wheel supports the snowblower’s weight when the machine is raised. That feature helps handling, but it does not remove the need to confirm the vehicle’s lifting, braking and stability limits.

Versatile Plus 48-inch: the smaller ATV-specific reference point
The 48-inch Versatile Plus is the clearest ATV-focused example in the published material. Its lower listed weight than the 54-inch models may simplify vehicle matching, but the vehicle still needs the specified hitch, winch and dimensional clearance. This model lists a 20 HP Honda engine, a 54-inch width and 645 lb. A wider housing can change access and maneuvering requirements, so compare the complete machine width and vehicle dimensions—not width alone—with your storage route, trail access and mounting hardware.

Premium 54-inch: highest published specification in this group
The Premium lists a 22 HP Honda engine, 750 lb weight and ATV/UTV compatibility. Its page also lists electric chute and deflector controls, a headlight kit, drift cutters and a battery support kit. Those included items may matter more than nominal engine output if you clear before dawn, work in drifting conditions or need additional electrical support. Confirm that the quoted trim includes each item.
What to inspect before accepting a quote
- Complete delivered cost: request attachment, mount, freight, taxes, installation and any required extension or battery components as separate line items.
- Vehicle compatibility: obtain written confirmation using your exact make, model, year and configuration.
- Controls and accessories: verify electric chute and deflector controls and whether lights, drift cutters or battery support are standard or optional on the quoted model.
- Weight and handling: plan for loading, storage, braking, steering and raised-attachment clearance at the published machine weight.
- Warranty use case: the cited Bercomac pages list one year for residential use and 90 days for professional or rental use; confirm exclusions and registration requirements.
- Seasonal support: ask who supplies parts, setup and service locally, and what lead time applies during winter demand.
ATV snow blower or plow?

Choose the method based on the site: a plow may suit short pushes and frequent clearing where windrows can be placed safely, while a snowblower is intended for collecting and throwing snow when pushing it is impractical.
