These 32 vinyl siding colors move from familiar whites and warm neutrals to grays, coastal blues, greens, reds, and near-black shades. They are an editorial selection drawn from ProVia and Champion product collections—not a universal manufacturer palette. Names, formulations, textures, and availability can differ by brand, series, profile, and region, so confirm the exact swatch for the siding line you will order.
How to use this color list
Judge a siding color with the roof, trim, masonry, doors, and surrounding landscape in view. A color that looks balanced on a screen or in an inspiration photograph can look substantially lighter, darker, warmer, or cooler on your house. Order a physical sample of the exact product, place it on several elevations, and view it in morning, midday, and late-day light.

ProVia specifically advises coordinating siding with other cladding materials and checking availability in the chosen brand collection. Similarly named colors from different manufacturers should not be assumed to match.
Classic whites and pale neutrals
Light siding reflects a traditional, clean appearance and gives trim a strong role. Dark roofing, natural stone, or a wood-look front door can keep a pale exterior from appearing flat.

| Color | Listed in | Coordination idea |
|---|---|---|
| White | ProVia | Works with nearly any roof; use a contrasting trim white if the product is very bright. |
| Linen | ProVia | Pairs naturally with warm gray roofing, tan masonry, and creamy trim. |
| Antique White | ProVia | Supports traditional homes with brown roofs, brick, and muted bronze accents. |
| Cream | ProVia | Softens a high-contrast scheme; coordinate with warm white trim rather than a stark blue-white. |
| Alabaster | ProVia | A gentle neutral for dark shingles, natural stone, and black or charcoal details. |
| Aspen White | Champion | Creates a crisp backdrop for shutters, stone veneer, or a saturated front door. |
| Bone | Champion | Links well with beige brick, sandstone, and medium-brown roofing. |
| Pearl | Champion | Useful when you want a light exterior with less visual starkness than a pure white. |
Warm neutrals and earth tones
Beige, tan, clay, and brown-based colors conceal dust well and connect readily with stone, brick, and wood. Compare samples against the actual foundation and hardscape; warm neutrals can shift noticeably beside cool gray materials.

|---|---|---|
| Chateau | ProVia | Use with cream trim, brown roofing, and rustic stone. |
| Sandalwood | ProVia | Complements cedar-like accents and warm masonry. |
| Clay | ProVia | Bridges tan stone and terracotta-influenced roofs; keep trim simple. |
| Prairie | ProVia | Fits broad natural palettes with olive landscaping and weathered wood. |
| Pueblo | ProVia | Works with southwestern or rustic materials, especially darker brown roofs. |
| Country Beige | Champion | A conventional neutral for brick foundations, white trim, and asphalt shingles. |
| Driftwood | Champion | Pairs with gray-brown roofing and coastal or weathered-wood accents. |
| Mocha | Champion | Creates a deeper earth-tone envelope; balance it with lighter trim and stone. |
Grays and stone-inspired shades
Gray siding can read modern, industrial, coastal, or traditional depending on its undertone and the materials around it. Test it beside the roof: blue-gray siding can clash with strongly brown shingles, while warm gray can make cool stone look bluish.

What “available colors” really means
The Vinyl Siding Institute’s 2021 guide says more than 400 colors have been certified for color retention through its program. That is a VSI program count, not the total number of colors sold across the industry and not a guarantee that every product line carries every certified color. The guide describes certification tied to ASTM D6864 or ASTM D7251 when the siding also meets ASTM D3679 performance requirements.

Factory-colored siding versus painting existing vinyl
Selecting a factory-colored panel is different from repainting installed siding. Sherwin-Williams says its VinylSafe palette contains 100 paint options, including a limited selection of darker colors formulated for sound, stable vinyl. Its technical guidance explains that darker paint absorbs more heat, which can warp, buckle, or distort vinyl.

- BEST USED ON: Exterior walls, wood, trim, siding, masonry, brick, concrete, stucco, vinyl, pre-painted aluminum siding, and primed metal surfaces like gutters and downspouts
Do not assume that every dark paint is safe for every siding substrate. Before repainting, follow the siding manufacturer’s instructions, confirm the substrate is sound and stable, and follow the specific paint product directions. VinylSafe guidance applies to the compatible Sherwin-Williams product lines and conditions stated by the company.
The Bottom Line
Choose from the exact color collection for your siding line, then approve the decision only after a physical sample has been viewed beside the roof, trim, masonry, and landscaping in the home’s real light.
