- Prototype the liquid path: Test one pump, one bottle, one tube, and one nozzle using water first.
- Calibrate volume: Measure the output by weight or volume across repeated runs and different bottle levels.
- Add separate ingredient lines: Keep bourbon and mixers isolated where practical, and test cleaning access.
- Build the lift separately: Confirm that the platform travels smoothly with an empty glass and a loaded glass.
