There is no single Ninja blender that suits every kitchen. The right choice depends on what you make, how many servings you need, and whether you want hot blending, a personal cup, thick-mixture tools, or food-prep attachments. The six models below are distinct options—not a claim that every one is a universal winner or was independently tested.
How to choose a Ninja blender
Start with your routine rather than the motor’s wattage. A personal smoothie, a large family batch, hot soup, a thick smoothie bowl, and chopping or dicing ingredients call for different vessels and attachments. Wattage alone does not establish blending quality.

- Choose by batch size: consider whether you mostly make one drink at a time or need a main pitcher for several servings.
- Check the exact configuration: Ninja family names can cover systems with different attachments. Match the model number and included parts to your intended use.
- Think about cleanup: stacked blade assemblies can be awkward to clean, while a heated jar may have extra restrictions. Check the specific model’s manual before washing or immersing parts.
- Check local availability: prices, stock, model names, and bundles vary by market and date. Confirm the listing and contents in your country before buying.
The comparison below uses U.S. model descriptions where available. Capacity figures are included only where the source tied them to the model; they should not be treated as directly comparable if the manufacturer or reviewer uses different capacity conventions.

| Model | Best suited to | What is established | Important trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ninja Foodi Cold & Hot Blender | Hot soups and cooking | RTINGS names it the best Ninja blender it tested in its comparison updated August 4, 2026. The review describes a heated jar and programs for cooking and blending. | Heating makes cleanup more involved; the jar cannot be immersed or put in the dishwasher, according to RTINGS. Capacity figures conflict within the review page. |
| Ninja Foodi Power Pitcher System (CO351B, SS351) | Multiple vessel types and thick blends | RTINGS’ upper mid-range pick, with a 72-ounce main jar, 24-ounce personal jar, and smoothie-bowl maker listed in its review. | It cannot hot blend, according to RTINGS. Confirm the accessories included with the exact model and bundle. |
| Ninja BlendBOSS | Compact personal blending | Tom’s Guide reports successful frozen-fruit smoothies, ice crushing, and hummus in its hands-on coverage; it also describes dishwasher-friendly parts. | The same reviewer measured high noise during testing. That is a reviewer-specific finding, not a comparative noise rating across all six models. |
| Ninja CrushBOSS 4-in-1 LB451BK1 | Food prep as well as blending | SharkNinja lists a 72-ounce pitcher, to-go tumbler, 8-cup food processor, and dicing kit. The catalog lists 1850 peak watts. | These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not independent comparative test results. Verify the exact bundle locally. |
| Ninja CrushBOSS Intelligent Blender LB201BK | A large-pitcher CrushBOSS configuration | SharkNinja lists an intelligent blender configuration with a 72-ounce pitcher and 1850 peak watts. | The catalog description does not establish the food-prep attachments included with the separate 2-in-1, 3-in-1, or 4-in-1 systems. |
| Ninja Detect TB401 or TB301 | Automatic-adjustment features | SharkNinja describes TB401 as a blender/processor system that adjusts speed and TB301 as a blender with personal cups. | Names and specifications can differ by region. Check the U.S. product page for the exact model before comparing it with another market’s Detect blender. |

Which Ninja model is right for you?
For hot soups: Foodi Cold & Hot Blender
This is the clearest fit if you want one appliance to heat food and blend hot ingredients. RTINGS names it the best Ninja blender it tested in its comparison updated August 4, 2026, and describes cooking and blending programs. Its cleaning constraints matter: RTINGS says the heating element makes cleaning more involved and the jar cannot be immersed or placed in a dishwasher.
Check capacity carefully before purchase. RTINGS’ review excerpt describes a 56-ounce heated jar, while the same page’s score block lists a 64-ounce main-jar capacity. Those figures are not reconciled in the cited material, so they should not be used interchangeably as usable capacity.
Rank #2
- ALL-IN-ONE KITCHEN SYSTEM: Blend, chop, crush and more in this powerhouse blender and food processor combo.
- POWERFUL MOTOR:1500-watt motor base to crush ice, blend frozen fruit, and power through tough ingredients with the 2-horsepower motor, designed for professional results.
- BLENDING TECHNOLOGY: The XL 72-oz.* pitcher, ideal for large batches and entertaining, features Total Crushing Blades that crush ice to snow in seconds and powers through tough ingredients. *64-oz. max liquid capacity.
- FOOD PROCESSING: 8-cup food processing bowl delivers consistent, even vegetable chopping, pureeing, and mixing. Includes a dedicated chopping blade, plus dough blade, capable of mixing up to 2 pounds of dough in just 30 seconds.
- ON-THE-GO CONVENIENCE: Includes two 16-oz. Nutri Ninja Cups with To-Go Lids, perfect for personalized shakes and smoothies.
For pitcher, personal, and thick blends: Foodi Power Pitcher System
RTINGS recommends the Foodi Power Pitcher System as its upper mid-range option and lists a 72-ounce main jar, 24-ounce personal jar, and smoothie-bowl maker. That combination supports different serving sizes and thicker mixtures better than a basic pitcher-only setup. It does not hot blend, so it is not a substitute for the Cold & Hot model when cooking in the blender is a priority.
For personal drinks: BlendBOSS
Tom’s Guide’s hands-on coverage makes BlendBOSS a candidate for someone who mainly blends individual drinks. The reviewer reports smooth frozen-fruit smoothies, successful ice crushing and hummus, and dishwasher-friendly parts, while also reporting high measured noise in that review’s test. Treat those as that reviewer’s experience, not as a guarantee for every recipe or a direct comparison with the other models here.
Rank #3
- MORE POWERFUL MOTOR: The Ninja Professional Plus Blender with Auto-iQ features a new modern design and a more powerful motor than Ninja's original Professional Blender. (Versus BL621, based on operating wattage).
- POWERFUL CRUSHING: Ninja Total Crushing Blades give you perfectly crushed ice for your smoothies and frozen drinks with 1400 peak watts of professional power.
- 3 VERSATILE FUNCTIONS: 3 preset Auto-iQ programs allow you to create smoothies, frozen drinks, and nutrient extractions, all at the touch of a button. Extract a drink containing vitamins and nutrients from fruits and vegetables.
- AUTO-IQ TECHNOLOGY: take the guesswork out of drink making with intelligent programs that combine unique timed pulsing, blending, and pausing patterns that do the work for you.
- XL BLENDING CAPACITY: The 72-oz. Total Crushing Pitcher is great for making large batches for the whole family. (64-oz. max liquid capacity.)
For dicing and food prep: CrushBOSS LB451BK1
The LB451BK1 is the CrushBOSS configuration to examine if you want a food processor and dicing kit alongside a blender pitcher and to-go tumbler. SharkNinja’s U.S. catalog describes it as a 4-in-1 system with a 72-ounce pitcher and 8-cup food processor. These are manufacturer descriptions; they do not establish how it performs against other food processors in independent testing.
For a CrushBOSS pitcher system: LB201BK
The LB201BK is a separate intelligent blender configuration, not another name for every CrushBOSS bundle. SharkNinja lists a 72-ounce pitcher and 1850 peak watts for this model. If you need a processor, tumbler, or dicing kit, confirm those parts are in the exact LB201BK listing rather than assuming that accessories from the LB451BK1 are included.
Rank #4
- PULSE TECHNOLOGY POWER: The powerful 700-watt push-to-blend motor base powers through everything in the cup for the best of Ninja blending as a smoothie maker, milkshake mixer, and more
- NUTRIENT EXTRACTION* DRINKS: Unlock hidden vitamins and nutrients from whole fruits and veggies, blending even the portions that are usually discarded for a nutritious drink
- BLENDS FROZEN INGREDIENTS: Crush ice and pulverize frozen ingredients for resort-like frozen drinks, smoothies, shakes, and more
- COMPACT COUNTERTOP DESIGN: So compact that it fits on any countertop, with intuitive push-to-blend controls making it the go-to choice for shakes and smoothies
- ON-THE-GO CONVENIENCE: Blend directly in the 16-oz. single-serve cup, attach the spout lid, and enjoy your creations wherever your day takes you
For automatic adjustment: Detect TB401 or TB301
SharkNinja describes the TB401 as a blender/processor system that adjusts speed, while the TB301 is described as a blender with personal cups. They are useful candidates if automatic adjustment is more important to you than hot blending. Do not rely on specifications for an overseas model: SharkNinja Australia’s comparison, for example, presents Australian-market names and figures that should not be carried into a U.S. purchase without checking the U.S. listing.

CrushBOSS names are not interchangeable
SharkNinja’s U.S. catalog separates CrushBOSS into configurations with different attachments. The model number is more useful than the family name when checking what a box contains.
Best Value
- INCREASED MOTOR POWER: The Ninja Professional Plus features a new modern design and a more powerful motor than Ninja's original Professional Blender (1400W vs 1000W of BL610)
- POWERFUL ICE CRUSHING: Total Crushing blades give you perfectly crushed ice for smoothies and frozen drinks with peak professional power
- POWERFUL ICE CRUSHING: Total Crushing blades give you perfectly crushed ice for smoothies and frozen drinks with peak professional power
- INTELLIGENT AUTO-IQ PROGRAMS: Take the guesswork out of drink making with 3 Auto-iQ intelligent presets that combine unique timed pulsing, blending, and pausing patterns that do the work for you
- FAMILY-SIZE PITCHER: The 72-oz. pitcher is great for making large batches for the whole family, with 64-oz. max liquid capacity clearly marked
| U.S. model | Catalog configuration | Listed attachments or vessel details |
|---|---|---|
| LB451BK1 | 4-in-1 | 72-ounce pitcher, to-go tumbler, 8-cup food processor, and dicing kit |
| LB401WH | 3-in-1 | Pitcher, tumbler, and processor |
| LB301BR | 2-in-1 | Pitcher and tumbler |
| LB201BK | Intelligent blender | 72-ounce pitcher |
The official catalog lists 1850 peak watts for these CrushBOSS configurations. That is a manufacturer-listed peak-watt figure, not evidence by itself that one configuration blends better than another. Tom’s Guide’s CrushBOSS review, published October 2, 2026, also lists a 72-ounce capacity, 1850 W, and ten blending speeds; its hands-on impressions and listed prices are the reviewer’s coverage and date-specific snapshots, not universal performance claims.
Cleaning, controls, and other checks before buying
RTINGS notes that many Ninja full-size blenders use sharp stacked blade assemblies, which can make cleaning harder, and that most do not include a tamper. The Cold & Hot model is an exception in its discussion, with conventional blades and a tamper. RTINGS also says many models have limited speed settings and most cannot hot blend. These are generalizations, not guarantees for every model; check the manual and accessory list for the exact unit.
Quick Recap
- Dishwasher use: RTINGS says most models are dishwasher-safe but advises checking the manual. The Cold & Hot jar is specifically described as not dishwasher-safe and not immersible.
- Thick mixtures: look for a bowl maker, tamper, or paddle only when the exact model’s accessory list confirms it.
- Controls: verify the named programs or speed controls on the model page; features can differ across configurations within a product family.
- Price and stock: retailer listings and catalog prices can change, and regional bundles may differ. Match the country, model number, and box contents.
