RIPPA’s separate product page lists 1,933 kg operating weight and 1,840 kg machine weight, rather than the overview’s 1,818 kg operating weight. The sources do not resolve whether this reflects a configuration difference or a specification revision. Ask for a configuration-specific specification sheet before using weight to assess hauling limits or site access.

How deep can the R18 PRO dig, and what does that mean for a job?
The manufacturer lists a maximum digging depth of 2,420 mm and a maximum digging radius of 3,975 mm. These dimensions can help screen the machine for trenching or property work, but a maximum figure does not establish how the machine will perform in a particular soil, working position, or attachment setup. Compare the required reach and depth with the actual work plan, and confirm the limits for the machine configuration being quoted.
What features affect access and job fit?
RIPPA describes the R18 PRO as having true zero-tail-swing geometry and a load-sensing LUDV hydraulic system. Those are manufacturer descriptions, not independent evaluations of performance. Its manual describes a telescopic undercarriage, folding blade extensions, and two dipper-stick lengths. Confirm which options are fitted to the specific unit: adjustable track gauge can matter when entering a constrained site, while stick and attachment configuration affect whether the machine suits the task.

RIPPA also positions the R18 PRO as reinforced for tougher ground, roots, and heavier property work. Treat that as vendor positioning rather than proof of field performance; ask the seller about the intended duty, wear items, and operating limits for the quoted configuration.
