That multifunctionality could suit a kitchen designed around it, but the available evidence does not establish broad U.S. retail availability, local installation support, or independent verification of its headline hygiene claims. Treat it as a product to investigate—not a confirmed U.S. purchase—until Fotile can identify the exact model, price, compliance, service, and warranty for your location.
What the X20Max is—and why the model number matters
“X20Max” is a family name, not one universally identical appliance. Fotile’s Chinese product pages describe distinct sink and cleaning-center configurations. The most relevant distinction is between an 11-place-setting sink dishwasher and a larger integrated cleaning center with a lower dishwasher. A related smart-sink configuration is also listed. Their features should not be assumed interchangeable.

| Configuration | What the official page identifies | What to keep in mind |
|---|---|---|
| JBSD3F-03-X20Max | Sink dishwasher; 11 place settings; 44-liter sink; 1,850 W rated power; operating water pressure 0.14–1 MPa; steam sanitization, pre-rinse, wash programs, ventilation and dual-circulation hot-air drying. Fotile product page | The listed specifications and China-standard ratings are for this configuration, not every X20Max. |
| JBS2T-X20Max | Smart-sink configuration; Fotile lists Wi-Fi control. Fotile product page | That listing does not establish that every X20Max model has the same connectivity or app functions. |
| JBID6E-04-X20Max | Integrated cleaning center with a 17-place-setting lower dishwasher; sink area listed as 885 × 500 × 226 mm; dishwasher section rated at 1,850 W. Fotile product page | This is a different, larger arrangement from the 11-place-setting sink dishwasher. |
In broad terms, the system puts a dishwasher into or beneath the sink work area and adds a basket or compartment for produce washing in some versions. The basin is intended to remain a usable sink, but loading, washing, and accessing the basin share a compact station. Confirm the exact unit’s drawings and operating sequence before designing cabinetry around it.
How the cleaning features work—and what is established
Dishwashing and drying
The official JBSD3F page lists pre-rinse, several wash modes—including ultra-fast, daily, intensive, and energy-saving options—steam sanitization, ventilation, hot-air drying, and storage-related functions. A sponsored hands-on article reported a 30-minute cycle, HydroJet washing, and a “three times” cleaning-power claim. The article did not establish the exact program conditions behind the short cycle or provide an independent comparative test for the cleaning-power claim. Techlicious, published in partnership with Fotile
The same Chinese product page lists a cleaning index of 1.20 and drying index of 1.18 under China’s GB 38383—2025 standard. Those figures are tied to that standard and market; they should not be read as U.S. Energy Star, NSF, or Department of Energy ratings. The cited page does not establish comparable U.S. certification or provide U.S. energy, water-use, or noise figures.
#1 Best Overall
- Top Load 2-in-1 Design: Single compact appliance works as both a portable dishwasher and a produce washer, and the top-opening tub means no bending down to load or unload a full rack of dishes
- HydroJet Cavitation Cleaning: High-pressure water circulation generates cavitation bubbles that lift stubborn food residue, grease and stains from dishes, cookware, fruit, vegetables and seafood
- 15 Minute Fast Wash: 4 cycle modes cover everyday dishes plus dedicated fruit and vegetable washing, while Eco Mode draws as little as 1.6 gallons of water per cycle
- Triple Drying System: Hot air drying from the PTC element plus automatic air circulation keep dishes dry and odor-free for up to 96 hours, reducing moisture buildup inside a closed tub
- Small Kitchen Fit: Freestanding countertop footprint suits an apartment, condo, RV or other compact living space, and a built-in child lock adds peace of mind in homes with children
Produce washing
Fotile markets a four-stage bubble-cleaning system for loosening dirt and pesticide residue. A sponsored demonstration described washing tomatoes, grapes, berries, kale, and cilantro; Bob Vila also reported the system at KBIS 2026. Those demonstrations and descriptions do not establish uniform removal rates for particular pesticides, crops, or cycles. Bob Vila’s KBIS 2026 coverage
Use the produce function only as its manual directs. Do not assume that a dishwasher cavity or basket is suitable for food after detergent, rinse aid, or dirty dishwater has contacted it unless Fotile explicitly specifies and validates that workflow. Strong jets or bubbles may also be unsuitable for delicate produce. Washing produce is not a guarantee that it is pesticide-free or free of every contaminant.
Drainage and hygiene claims
The sponsored article describes a Pur-Drainage feature intended to prevent dirty water or odors from returning to the basin. That is a design claim about drainage, not evidence of improved health outcomes. Fotile’s reported Baby-Safe Sterilization Mode claim—99.9999% germ elimination—also needs context: the cited article does not supply the tested organisms, laboratory, cycle and temperature, contact time, starting contamination level, or load conditions. A percentage claim is not a guarantee that every load or surface is sterile. Ask for the underlying test report and its scope before relying on it.
Is it genuinely smart?
Fotile confirms Wi-Fi control for the JBS2T-X20Max, but the available product information does not establish identical connectivity across the family or spell out every app function. Before purchase, ask which functions are controlled remotely, whether the app works in your country, whether an account or cloud connection is needed, what data is collected, and which cycles remain usable if Wi-Fi or internet service fails. Do not treat connectivity alone as a practical advantage; the useful question is what control or status information it adds to your routine.
How it differs from a conventional dishwasher
| Consideration | X20Max concept | Conventional built-in dishwasher |
|---|---|---|
| Kitchen layout | Combines sink-area functions; may require a purpose-designed cabinet, counter opening, plumbing, and service access. | Typically fits a dedicated dishwasher opening beside existing sink plumbing. |
| Loading | Top-loading can reduce bending, but basin geometry may constrain tall items, large pots, or baking sheets. | Rack layout varies, but the format is familiar and often offers more flexibility for bulky cookware. |
| Capacity | Listed as 11 place settings for JBSD3F-03-X20Max; a separate JBID6E-04 configuration lists 17 place settings. | Capacity varies by model; compare the exact model’s published setting count and rack dimensions. |
| Produce washing | Included in some configurations and marketed as part of the integrated workflow. | Not a standard dishwasher function. |
| Replacement and repair | A fault may affect sink, drainage, dishwashing, or produce-cleaning functions; parts and service depend on the market. | Separate appliance replacement is generally less tied to the sink and counter installation. |
| U.S. documentation | U.S. price, broad availability, and full installation/support documentation were not clearly confirmed in the cited material. | U.S.-market models may have local specifications, certification information, and service channels; verify by model. |
The trade is integration for flexibility: one station can do more, but it also makes the sink cabinet and countertop more appliance-dependent. That can complicate later replacement or service compared with swapping a standalone dishwasher.
U.S. availability, price, and alternatives
Techlicious reported in November 2025 that U.S. pricing and release timing had not been announced. The X20Max later appeared in U.S. event coverage at KBIS 2026, but a trade-show appearance does not establish ordinary retail availability, an authorized installation route, or local warranty coverage. The official U.S. dishwasher collection and U.S. product pages cited here show other Fotile models, not a clearly identified X20Max purchase page. Fotile U.S. built-in dishwasher collection

1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteAs of the latest availability information in the cited material, do not assume the X20Max is available for U.S. residential purchase. Ask Fotile directly for a U.S. SKU, delivered price, applicable electrical and plumbing certifications, installation coverage, replacement-parts availability, and written warranty terms. Avoid treating an unofficial import listing as an authorized sales or service path: voltage compatibility, code compliance, and warranty eligibility may be unresolved.

For shoppers who want a currently listed U.S. alternative rather than the X20Max itself, Fotile’s U.S. site lists the VersaWash 2-in-1 top-load dishwasher with produce-cleaning positioning. It is a separate product, not proof that the X20Max is sold in the United States. The BD2B-G2-Y is a conventional built-in alternative, while Fotile’s SD2F-P3 in-sink dishwasher page describes another U.S.-oriented compact option. Confirm current pricing, stock, specifications, and service with the seller; product pages and promotions can change.

An X20Max is not a drop-in replacement for a standard dishwasher opening. Because it occupies the sink zone, suitability depends on the sink base, countertop opening, plumbing route, electrical supply, and the ability to service the appliance without dismantling unrelated work. The official Chinese specification for JBSD3F-03-X20Max gives an operating water-pressure range of 0.14–1 MPa; have a qualified installer verify that the exact model’s requirements suit the site and local system.
- Cabinet and counter: Obtain the installation drawing for the precise model. Verify cabinet width, depth and height, cutout dimensions, countertop material and support, door or lid clearance, and room to remove filters or service components.
- Plumbing and drainage: Confirm supply connections, drain size and route, backflow protection, required high loop or air gap under local rules, and access to traps and service points. Check compatibility with the existing sink, faucet, and garbage disposal rather than assuming standard connections.
- Electrical: Verify the nameplate voltage, frequency, current, plug or hardwire arrangement, grounding, and circuit requirements for the market-specific model. Chinese-market specifications should not be presumed compatible with U.S. household power. Fotile’s U.S. in-sink product information cites a dedicated 15-amp circuit for its U.S. in-sink models; that is useful context, not an X20Max requirement. Fotile U.S. in-sink product information
- Codes and approvals: Require documentation applicable to the installation jurisdiction for electrical, plumbing, sanitation, and energy claims. A China-market rating does not establish U.S. code acceptance or an American certification.
- Service and future access: Plan to reach the filter, drain, seals, pumps, and electronics. Ask who will service each system and whether a repair could take both the sink and dishwasher offline.
- Warranty and installation: Get the warranty and authorized-installer status in writing before construction closes around the unit. Fotile’s U.S. service information describes warranty coverage beginning at installation and a certified-installer network; those statements relate to its U.S. offerings and should not be presumed to cover an imported X20Max. For a remodel, make the appliance decision before finalizing sink-base dimensions, countertop fabrication, plumbing rough-in, and electrical plans. If the exact model and local installation path are still uncertain, avoid making irreversible cutouts based on a showcase photo or a different X20Max configuration.

It may make sense when
- You are building or substantially remodeling and can design the sink cabinet around the exact appliance.
- A separate dishwasher will not fit, and combining washing functions is more valuable than conventional loading flexibility.
- You regularly wash both dishes and produce at the same work station and can verify the intended food-safe workflow.
- Top-loading ergonomics matter to you, subject to testing the opening, reach, and loading height in person.
- You can confirm local supply, installation, parts, certification, and warranty support before purchase.
A conventional dishwasher—or waiting—is the safer choice when
- Your kitchen already has a standard dishwasher opening and you do not want to replace or redesign the sink area.
- You often wash oversized cookware or need a familiar full-size rack arrangement.
- Broad local service, straightforward replacement, or verified U.S. energy and sanitation credentials are priorities.
- You rent or cannot alter cabinetry, plumbing, counters, or electrical service.
- You would depend on pesticide-removal or germ-elimination marketing as a substitute for normal food handling or independently documented performance.
Questions to get answered before committing
- Which exact model number and configuration is being quoted, and does the installation drawing match the product being sold?
- Is it approved and sold for residential use in your country, with compatible voltage and required local certifications?
- What are the actual cabinet, cutout, water-pressure, drain, and circuit requirements for that model?
- Who performs installation and service locally, and are filters, seals, pumps, racks, and electronics stocked?
- What does the warranty cover for an imported or locally sold unit, and does coverage require installation by an authorized provider?
- For the sanitation and produce claims, can the seller provide the test protocol, lab, tested organisms or residues, cycle conditions, and results for the precise model?
- Which operations work without the app or internet, and what produce-washing procedures prevent detergent or dirty-water cross-contamination?
Verdict
The X20Max is an intriguing integrated sink-and-cleaning system, with official specifications for specific configurations and U.S. visibility at KBIS 2026. Its strongest case is multifunctionality in a kitchen designed for it—not established health benefits or a proven U.S. ownership path. For a construction project, treat model identification, local approval, installation drawings, service access, and warranty confirmation as prerequisites, not details to settle after the countertop is cut.
