As of 10 August 2026, Apple’s current accessory directory identifies 21 camera listings and three doorbell listings with HomeKit Secure Video (HSV). The practical list is slightly broader because Aqara’s current catalog adds the G100, G350, G400 and G410, while eufy documents the newer S3 Pro as an Apple Home option. This guide separates confirmed native support from catalog conflicts, regional availability and older models whose HSV status is uncertain.
As of 10 August 2026, the strongest current baseline is Apple’s Home accessories directory: it identifies 21 camera listings and three doorbell listings with HomeKit Secure Video (HSV). That list needs a small update. Aqara’s G100, G350, G400 and G410 are current manufacturer-documented additions, and eufy’s S3 Pro is described by eufy as a current Apple Home/HSV option. ecobee’s SmartCamera has explicit manufacturer confirmation, but Apple’s current directory does not show the HSV badge, so it belongs in the legacy or conflict section rather than the unqualified shopping list.

This is an inventory of native manufacturer support. It does not include cameras exposed to Apple Home through Homebridge, Scrypted or another bridge. “Works with HomeKit” is also not enough: Apple’s directory includes HomeKit-only cameras that do not support HSV recording.

HSV is Apple’s private video-recording system inside the Home app. Compatible cameras can send activity footage to a supported Apple home hub for analysis and encrypted storage in iCloud+, rather than relying solely on the manufacturer’s cloud.
#1 Best Overall
- 2K Clarity Day and Night: The G100 Wi-Fi Camera films in 2304×1296 (3MP) resolution with a 140°FOV and a wide-angle f/1.8 lens for superior image quality. It features two night vision modes: Spotlight Color Night Vision and IR Detection Mode. The spotlight provides illumination in dark, great for color recording outdoors at night. The G100 also includes 940 nm infrared lighting, ensuring covert illumination without alerting potential intruders. (Note: Both Spotlight and IR night vision modes must be manually enabled in the app and do not turn on automatically.)
- Indoor/Outdoor Ready IP65 Protection: With durable, weather-resistant IP65-rated housing, the G100 surveillance camera is both an indoor camera and outdoor security camera, offering reliable home surveillance for flexible indoor or outdoor mounting. Withstands rain, dust, and rugged environments.
- Local and Cloud AI Detection: The G100 surveillance cameras supports local motion and person detection, and the HomeGuardian Plan unlocks cloud-based recognition for pets, vehicles, packages, and faces, with AI event tagging. Integrated Events automatically can be triggered when paired with other Aqara devices (subscription required). It also supports Lens Obstruction Detection, custom audio files, and 2-way audio (Notes: Only in Aqara Home App).
- HomeKit Support & Wide Compatibility: The Aqara G100 Camera provides full support for HomeKit Secure Video (Note:Requires an active iCloud subscription and an Apple Home hub. HomeKit limits resolution to 1080p. When connected to both Apple and Aqara Home, the G100’s resolution in Aqara Home will also be limited to 1080p, but will return to 1296p if HomeKit is disconnected.) The G100 has some of the best third-party ecosystem support on the market, it can stream to Google, Alexa compatible smart displays, and even Home Assistant via the RTSP protocol, making it easier to interact with visitors or check in on loved ones.
- Flexible Storage Methods: Record 24/7 with a microSD (up to 512GB, not included) or NAS. Time-lapse mode compresses 24-hours of footage to 15-second clips (wired connection and microSD card required). Automatically store detected events with end-to-end encryption in the cloud with a HomeGuardian subscription, ensuring protection against data theft and guaranteeing your privacy at home.
You need all of the following for the full experience:
- An HSV-compatible camera or camera-equipped doorbell.
- An iCloud+ plan: Apple currently documents one camera on 50GB, up to five cameras on 200GB, and unlimited cameras on 2TB or higher plans.
- A home hub, such as an Apple TV 4K or HomePod. The hub performs the private video analysis and is required for recording and remote access.
- Current Apple Home software and camera firmware.
Apple documents a rolling 10-day activity history, and HSV recordings do not count against the ordinary iCloud storage quota. Depending on the camera, region and software version, HSV can identify people, pets, vehicles and packages, define activity zones, and use face recognition. Those capabilities should not be assumed to be identical across every camera or country.
Confirmed cameras with HomeKit Secure Video support
Aqara
| Camera | Best understood as | Important caveat |
|---|---|---|
| Aqara Camera E1 | Indoor pan/tilt camera | Aqara explicitly documents full HSV support and the required Apple home-hub and iCloud setup. |
| Aqara Camera Hub G2H | Indoor camera and Zigbee hub | HSV is documented in Aqara’s launch material. |
| Aqara Camera Hub G2H Pro | Indoor camera and Zigbee hub | The official product documentation covers HSV and encrypted iCloud recordings. |
| Aqara Camera Hub G3 | Indoor pan/tilt camera, Zigbee hub and IR controller | Aqara documents a 1080p HSV mode. Pan/tilt controls are unavailable through Apple’s current camera limitations, so the Aqara app remains important. |
| Aqara Camera Hub G5 Pro | Outdoor camera and smart-home hub | Available in Wi-Fi and PoE variants, with IP65 protection and local storage. Apple Home output is limited to 1080p. |
| Aqara Smart Video Doorbell G4 | Battery or wired doorbell camera | Aqara explicitly documents HSV. Apple currently places the G4 in its camera section rather than its separate doorbell section. |
Aqara also has newer products that deserve inclusion even though Apple’s directory is not fully synchronized with the current manufacturer catalog:
Recommended Free Tools
- Camera G100: a 2K camera for indoor or outdoor use with explicit HSV support. Its current availability is region-dependent; it appears in Apple’s US store and has documented retail availability.
- Camera Hub G350: an indoor dual-lens camera and hub with explicit HSV support. Aqara states that Apple Home output is limited to 1080p.
- Doorbell Camera G400 Wired: a wired/PoE doorbell documented on Aqara’s European and Canadian sites. Aqara states that HSV output is limited to 1200p.
- Doorbell Camera Hub G410: a battery/wired doorbell and smart-home hub with HSV support. Aqara states that HSV mode tops out at 1200p.
The G100, G350, G400 and G410 should therefore be treated as current manufacturer-confirmed products, with regional availability checked before purchase.
eufy
- Indoor Cam E220: an Apple-directory-listed indoor camera.
- Indoor Cam E30: an Apple-directory-listed indoor camera. Apple marks it HSV-compatible, but eufy’s current support material is less explicit than its older HSV documentation. Verify exact firmware behavior before buying.
- eufyCam 2 and eufyCam 2 Pro: battery-camera models with explicit eufy documentation for HSV. They require HomeBase 2.
- eufyCam 2C and eufyCam 2C Pro: another explicitly documented HSV family, also requiring HomeBase 2.
- Indoor Cam 2K / Solo IndoorCam C24: eufy explicitly documents HSV support.
- Indoor Cam 2K Pan & Tilt / Solo IndoorCam P24: explicitly documented HSV support. Pan/tilt control remains in the eufy app rather than Apple Home.
- eufyCam S3 Pro: eufy’s current compatibility material lists Apple Home support, and its current editorial material identifies the S3 Pro as an HSV option. Include it as a current possibility with medium confidence because the strongest explicit HSV wording is not in the compatibility table itself.
Do not equate a eufy camera’s headline resolution with its Apple Home recording resolution. Older eufy documentation describes 1080p HomeKit output for cameras advertised as 2K, and the manufacturer app may expose controls or features that Apple Home does not.
Eve
- Eve Cam: an indoor 1080p camera built exclusively for Apple HomeKit Secure Video. Eve says no Eve account is required, and recordings use iCloud+.
- Eve Outdoor Cam: a wired outdoor floodlight camera built exclusively for HSV. It records at 1080p, has a 157-degree field of view and IP55 protection.
Eve is the clearest fit for someone who wants an Apple-first camera and does not want to make a manufacturer account part of the setup. The trade-off is that both products are relatively specialized: Eve Cam is indoor-only, while Eve Outdoor Cam is a wired floodlight installation.
Rank #2
- 2K Clarity Day and Night: The G100 Wi-Fi Camera films in 2304×1296 (3MP) resolution with a 140°FOV and a wide-angle f/1.8 lens for superior image quality. It features two night vision modes: Spotlight Color Night Vision and IR Detection Mode. The spotlight provides illumination in dark, great for color recording outdoors at night.
The Aqara Camera G100 requires a power adapter with DC 5V/1A output which is not included in the box. Zigbee2MQTT and comparable third-party USB dongles are not officially supported by Aqara. Full product functionality may be limited or unavailable.
EZVIZ
- EZVIZ SHC E6 / E6 3K: an indoor pan/tilt camera for which EZVIZ explicitly documents HSV support.
- EZVIZ SHC EL3: an outdoor/floodlight camera marked HSV-compatible by Apple. The current manufacturer page reviewed emphasizes local and EZVIZ cloud storage more than HSV, so verify that the regional firmware supports HSV before purchase.
Logitech
- Logitech Circle View Camera: a wired indoor/outdoor 1080p camera with a 180-degree field of view and explicit HSV support.
- Logitech Circle 2: an older camera that can be converted to HSV through a special firmware update. Conversion removes Circle-app operation and Circle Safe features. A used-market buyer should confirm whether the camera has already been converted and whether that permanent trade-off is acceptable.
- Logitech Circle View Doorbell: a wired doorbell with explicit HSV support. It is also listed by Apple in the separate doorbell category.
Netatmo
- Netatmo Smart Indoor Camera: supports HSV while also offering local microSD recording and Netatmo firmware maintenance.
- Netatmo Smart Outdoor Camera: supports HSV, including the version with Siren. Netatmo’s support documentation covers both outdoor variants.
Netatmo’s firmware history matters. Version 5.24.0 included a fix for HSV recording after iOS/HomePod OS 18. Keep the camera firmware current if recording stops after an Apple platform update.
Do not confuse the Smart Indoor Camera with the Netatmo Indoor Camera Advance. Apple lists Indoor Camera Advance without the HSV marker, so it is not part of this confirmed inventory.
Onvis and Zorachka
- Onvis Smart Camera C3: an indoor 1080p camera with documented HSV, iCloud history and Apple home-hub requirements.
- Zorachka Homam 64GB: listed by Apple as HSV-compatible. Apple’s listing confirms platform compatibility, but current retail availability and manufacturer support were not independently established in the reviewed material. Treat it as a directory-confirmed but availability-uncertain option.
Apple’s separately listed HSV doorbells
Apple’s directory separately marks three doorbells as supporting HSV:
| Doorbell | Notes |
|---|---|
| Belkin Wemo Smart Video Doorbell WDC010 | Belkin explicitly documents iCloud recording through HSV. |
| Logitech Circle View Doorbell | Wired HSV doorbell with explicit Logitech support. |
| Robin ProLine Doorbell | Apple-directory-listed HSV doorbell. Availability is primarily European and must be checked locally. |
For a complete product view, also include Aqara’s camera-equipped doorbells: the Smart Video Doorbell G4, Doorbell Camera G400 Wired and Doorbell Camera Hub G410. Their placement differs between Apple’s directory and Aqara’s own catalog, but the products have explicit Aqara HSV documentation. The G400 and G410 are documented with a maximum 1200p HSV output.
How to choose among them
Best low-cost general-purpose candidate: Aqara Camera G100
The G100 is the cleanest current keyword match for a broadly useful camera: it supports indoor or outdoor placement, has explicit HSV documentation and has documented retail availability. Check your country’s Aqara and Apple catalogs first, because regional availability and Apple listings do not always change together.

Best Apple-first indoor choice: Eve Cam
Eve Cam is the most straightforward privacy-oriented indoor option in this list. It is built specifically for HSV and does not require an Eve account. Choose it when Apple Home is the primary interface and manufacturer-cloud features are less important than a simple Apple-native setup.
Rank #3
Best wired outdoor or floodlight category: Eve Outdoor Cam or Netatmo Smart Outdoor Camera
Eve Outdoor Cam is the more explicitly Apple-first choice, with 1080p video, a 157-degree field of view and IP55 protection. Netatmo Smart Outdoor Camera is the alternative for buyers who also value local microSD recording and Netatmo’s own maintenance and features. Confirm the exact outdoor variant, wiring requirements and regional availability.
Best battery-camera system: eufyCam 2 or 2C families
The eufyCam 2 and 2C families have explicit HSV documentation, but they are not standalone Apple Home cameras: HomeBase 2 is required. They make more sense when you want a multi-camera battery system and are willing to maintain the eufy base station alongside Apple Home.
The newer S3 Pro is more attractive on paper, but the current evidence is less direct. Treat it as a buyer-check model: confirm the exact regional model, firmware and Apple Home/HSV behavior before committing to a system.

The G350 and G5 Pro combine camera functions with smart-home hub duties. The G350 is an indoor dual-lens model; the G5 Pro is an outdoor model available in Wi-Fi or PoE variants and rated IP65. Both require a realistic expectation about Apple Home resolution: Aqara documents 1080p output in Apple Home for these current products.

Camera resolution is not necessarily HSV resolution
A camera marketed as 2K or higher may provide a lower-resolution stream to Apple Home. Aqara documents 1080p Apple Home limits for the G3 and G350, 1200p HSV limits for the G400 and G410, and eufy’s older documentation describes 1080p HomeKit output for 2K cameras. Always distinguish the camera’s maximum sensor or manufacturer-app resolution from its HSV resolution.
Apple Home may not expose every camera control
Pan/tilt, local AI, microSD or NAS recording, two-way audio and manufacturer-cloud features can be reduced or unavailable in Apple Home. Aqara documents that the G3’s pan/tilt controls are unavailable through Apple’s current camera limitations. eufy documents that pan/tilt control for the Indoor Cam 2K Pan & Tilt/P24 remains in the eufy app.
Rank #4
- 4K Ultra HD Dual-Lens Camera & 9X Hybrid Zoom:The G350 indoor camera features a dual-camera system that captures every detail. A 133° wide-angle 4K lens and 2.5K HD telephoto lens combines to deliver sweeping panoramic views and zoomed details. With 9X hybrid zoom, you can magnify specific areas without losing clarity using fixed tap shortcut, zoom dial, dragbox or finger spread. The f/1.6 large aperture and 940nm invisible infrared LEDs ensure clear night vision with no conspicuous red glow.
- AI Auto & Close-Up Tracking: The AI auto-tracking feature intelligently identifies and follows the movement of people or pets, keeping them framed at the center of the view. With close-up tracking, our indoor security camera goes beyong simply follow a subject but tracks with close-up capture in an appropriate zoom level. Its pan/tilt speed automatically slows down when zooming in, ensuring stable and precise framing of distant close-ups while completely eliminating motion blur. Note: This feature is only configurable in the Aqara Home app.
- Smarter Image & Sound Local AI Detections: Face, Pet, Gesture & Sound Recognition. Smart and private by design—all AI processing happens locally on the device, with no cloud upload. Faster response, better privacy. G350 wifi camera detects faces, pets, and 6 specific sounds (baby crying, coughing, dog barking, etc.). Its exclusive static & dynamic gesture recognition lets you trigger scenes with a "OK" sign or a simple wave. Real-time alerts for baby crying and more keep you informed, right when it matters.
- Matter Bridge & Zigbee Hub : As a hub, it supports both the Aqara Zigbee (third-party Zigbee devices are not supported) and Thread dual protocols, and can connect up to 80 Aqara Zigbee sub-devices, or 40 Aqara Zigbee sub-devices plus 40 Thread sub-devices. This Wi-Fi security camera can integrate third-party Matter devices into the Aqara Home app and bridge existing Aqara devices to Matter-compatible platforms such as Apple Home, SmartThings, Alexa, and Google Home. *Matter camera device type support has been introduced at the specification level. Platform-level adoption remains limited and may vary by ecosystem.
- 360° Pan-Tilt, with Cruise & Preset Angles: See it. Tap it. See it closer. Get a full panoramic view of your room and instantly zoom in on any detail with a single tap. Want the home camera to watch specific areas automatically? Schedule cruises. Have go-to angles? Save them as presets for one-tap viewing. Total control, zero hassle. *Please use the Aqara home app to unlock full PTZ functionality.
HSV does not automatically replace the manufacturer app
Some cameras still need the manufacturer app for firmware updates, local-storage settings, advanced detections, pan/tilt control, base-station setup or features Apple Home does not expose. Eve’s cameras are the exception in spirit because they are built around Apple Home, but even there the Apple home hub and iCloud+ requirements remain.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesUsed Logitech Circle 2 cameras need special care
Circle 2’s HSV conversion is not a reversible convenience toggle. It moves the camera away from Circle-app operation and Circle Safe features. Before buying used, ask for the exact firmware state and confirm whether the seller expects you to use Apple Home exclusively.
Models excluded from the confirmed HSV list
The following should not be presented as confirmed native HSV cameras based on the current evidence. Apple’s directory lists them without the HSV marker, or the reviewed sources establish ordinary HomeKit live view rather than HSV recording:
- Arlo Baby, Arlo Pro, Arlo Pro 2, Arlo Pro 3, Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight and Arlo Ultra.
- D-Link Omna 180 CAM HD.
- Netatmo Indoor Camera Advance.
- Netatmo Smart Video Doorbell.
- Somfy Indoor Camera and Somfy Outdoor Camera.
- Robin.nl PoE HD Doorbell and Yobi Video Doorbell B3.
VOCOlinc VC1 Opto appears in older HSV coverage but is absent from Apple’s current directory, and a current manufacturer product page was not established. Label it legacy or availability unresolved rather than recommending it as a current purchase.
ecobee SmartCamera with voice control is a special case. ecobee explicitly announced HSV support and supplied firmware 4.6.35.32 for setup, but Apple’s current directory lists SmartCamera without the HSV badge. It is best described as legacy/manufacturer-confirmed, not as an unqualified current-buy recommendation.

Homebridge, Scrypted and similar tools can expose many unsupported cameras to Apple Home. They can be useful for an existing installation, but they change the setup: a computer or server must remain available, compatibility depends on the bridge and plugin, and the result is not the same as native manufacturer support. This list intentionally excludes those integrations so that “HSV support” means the camera itself is documented to work with Apple’s system.
Pre-purchase checklist
- Confirm the exact model number, not just the product family.
- Check both Apple’s accessory directory for your country and the manufacturer’s regional product page.
- Verify that the listing says HomeKit Secure Video or HSV, not merely HomeKit.
- Confirm your iCloud+ camera limit: one on 50GB, five on 200GB, or unlimited on 2TB and higher.
- Make sure you have an Apple TV 4K or HomePod acting as a home hub.
- Check Apple Home resolution separately from the camera’s headline resolution.
- Confirm whether the camera requires a base station, such as HomeBase 2 for eufyCam 2/2C systems.
- Check whether pan/tilt, local recording, AI detections, two-way audio or other features remain available in Apple Home.
- For outdoor cameras and doorbells, verify wiring, weather rating, installation requirements and local availability.
- For used Circle 2 units, establish whether the HSV conversion has already happened and whether you accept losing Circle-app features.
Why this list will change
Apple’s directory, Apple’s retail catalog, manufacturer catalogs, firmware and regional availability are separate systems. A product may appear on a manufacturer’s US page before Apple updates a country-specific directory, or a directory entry may remain visible after retail availability becomes difficult to confirm. Recheck the exact model and firmware before publication or purchase, especially for Aqara’s newer G100, G350, G400 and G410, eufyCam S3 Pro, EZVIZ SHC EL3 and ecobee SmartCamera.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is every HomeKit camera compatible with HomeKit Secure Video?
HomeKit compatibility only means live viewing or basic Apple Home integration. HomeKit Secure Video requires the camera to support Apple’s encrypted recording system, plus iCloud+ and a supported Apple home hub.
How much iCloud storage do HomeKit Secure Video cameras need?
Apple currently documents one camera with 50GB iCloud+, up to five with 200GB, and unlimited cameras with 2TB or higher plans. HSV keeps a rolling 10-day activity history, and those recordings do not count against ordinary iCloud storage.
Free tools Windows power users keep installed
One-click scans. No signup required.
Do I need an Apple TV or HomePod for HomeKit Secure Video?
Yes, for the full HSV experience. Apple TV 4K or HomePod acts as the home hub for private video analysis, recording and remote access.
Does a 2K camera record in 2K through HomeKit Secure Video?
Not always. Aqara documents 1080p Apple Home limits for models such as the G3 and G350, while the G400 and G410 are documented at up to 1200p in HSV mode. eufy’s older documentation also describes 1080p HomeKit output for some 2K cameras.
Are Scrypted and Homebridge cameras included in this list?
No. Homebridge, Scrypted and similar tools are bridge-based integrations. This article counts only native manufacturer support documented for the camera itself.
The Bottom Line
For the cleanest current native-HSV choices, start with Aqara Camera G100 for a flexible general-purpose camera, Eve Cam for an Apple-first indoor installation, Eve Outdoor Cam or Netatmo Smart Outdoor Camera for wired outdoor use, and eufyCam 2/2C when you specifically want a battery system with HomeBase 2. Treat regional listings, firmware, Apple Home resolution and missing controls as part of the buying decision—not footnotes.
