Eureka Dual Washing Bot: What the CES 2024 Concept Does—and Whether You Can Buy It

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The Eureka Dual Washing Bot was shown at CES 2024 as a concept combining a washer, dryer, robot vacuum and robot mop. It is not a verified, normally available retail appliance: no confirmed U.S. buying page, final model number or complete production specification has been established. For a construction or renovation project, treat it as an interesting design concept—not an appliance you can currently specify with confidence.

What is the Eureka Dual Washing Bot?

It is more than a washing machine with a cleaning feature. The CES concept paired a front-loading washer/dryer with an autonomous floor-cleaning robot docked underneath it. The “four-in-one” label counts the laundry appliance’s washing and drying functions plus the robot’s vacuuming and mopping functions; it does not mean the unit is four full-size appliances in one cabinet.

CES coverage described the concept and its proposed functions, but that is not the same as a final retail specification or independently tested product. Digital Trends’ CES coverage and Phandroid’s overview both explain the washer-and-robot arrangement.

How the integrated dock was supposed to work

The washer/dryer would connect to household water and drainage. The robot was intended to use that plumbing through its dock to refill its clean-water supply and discharge dirty mopping water. The dock would also handle dust collection and mop rinsing and drying. In effect, the laundry appliance’s service connections would do double duty as a robot-mop service station.

Eureka E20 Plus Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo, Robot Vacuum Cleaner with Bagless Self Emptying Station, 45-Day Capacity 8000Pa Suction and Anti Hair-Tangling Brush App Control LiDAR Navigation
  • Powerful 8000Pa Suction: Effectively captures dust, debris, and pet hair from carpets and hard floors, ensuring a thorough clean.
  • Bagless Self-Emptying Station: Holds up to 45 days of dirt and debris, eliminating the need for frequent manual emptying and saving on replacement bags.
  • DuoDetect AI 3D Obstacle Avoidance: Utilizes dual LiDAR sensors for precise navigation, avoiding obstacles even in low-light conditions.
  • Anti Hair-Tangling Brush: V-shaped rubber brushroll reduces hair wrap by 14%, making it ideal for homes with pets.
  • Auto-Lifting Mop: Automatically raises the mop by 10mm when carpets are detected, preventing wetting and ensuring optimal cleaning.

That arrangement could reduce the need to carry water tanks to a sink, but it would make the appliance’s location a more demanding design decision. A laundry hookup alone is not enough: the robot also needs a clear route out of the dock, room to navigate the home and a usable return path. The plumbing concept is described in Les Numériques’ CES report.

Features reported at CES

  • Floor care: robotic vacuuming and mopping, with reported obstacle avoidance and hair- and fur-management features.
  • Dock automation: self-emptying, mop rinsing and drying, and water refill and drainage were reported as intended functions.
  • Controls and alerts: coverage described app operation, laundry-completion notifications and audio alerts.
  • Camera and odor control: a built-in camera and deodorization were among the reported features. The CES highlights document mentions both camera and deodorization, but no product-specific privacy or security documentation was established.

These are reported features of a CES-era concept, not confirmation that a production model delivered them or how well they worked. The camera also leaves practical questions unanswered: whether video would be processed locally or in the cloud, how it could be disabled, and what data-retention and remote-access controls would apply.

Suction and dust-bag claims need qualification

CES-era coverage most commonly reported 5,000 Pa suction, while one report quoted 8,000 Pa. Eureka’s final production specification was not located, so the correct figure remains unverified. The reported dust-bag interval of up to about 60 days was an estimate, not a guaranteed replacement schedule; actual use would depend on floor area, debris, pets and cleaning frequency. See Phandroid’s suction figure, the conflicting 8,000 Pa report and Digital Trends’ dust-bag estimate.

What a renovation or installation plan would need to resolve

One CES report described an intended width and depth of roughly 60 cm, comparable to a standard European washing-machine footprint. That is an approximate concept-era claim, not a confirmed final dimension, and it should not be assumed to fit a U.S. laundry room. Appliance formats and installation conditions vary by market. The integrated robot dock would also make the unit taller than a washer alone, so the height, loading ergonomics and overhead clearances would matter.

Before specifying a comparable integrated appliance in a remodel, a contractor or designer would need its actual installation manual and model-specific requirements. For this concept, the key details were not established:

  • Final width, depth, height and required service clearances
  • Washer and dryer capacities, spin speed, cycle times and energy use
  • Dryer technology and whether venting would be required
  • Voltage, amperage, outlet location and electrical circuit requirements
  • Water-supply, drain-hose and plumbing-connection configuration
  • Floor loading, vibration and noise specifications
  • Robot clearance and whether it could leave and return to the dock without obstruction
  • Warranty, service network, replacement parts and repair procedures

Without those details, the reported footprint cannot establish compatibility, and the concept cannot be responsibly treated as a drop-in washer/dryer replacement. The robot’s automated water handling could reduce routine tank handling, but it would not remove the need to inspect drains and seals or clean filters, brushes and other serviceable parts.

Laundry performance Capacity, spin speed, dryer type, cycle times and energy consumption were not stated in the cited CES coverage.
Installation specifications Final dimensions, electrical requirements, clearances and installation instructions were not established.
Warranty and repair support Not stated in the cited CES coverage.
Camera privacy and security Product-specific processing, storage, access and disable controls were not established.

Was it released, and can you buy it?

The product was publicly shown at CES 2024, and reports described it as a concept or possible future product. A possible Indiegogo campaign was mentioned, but the CES-era coverage did not establish a firm launch date or retail price. As of the latest cited availability check, Eureka’s U.S. catalog lists other floor-care products but does not list the Dual Washing Bot. That supports the conclusion that it is not currently sold through Eureka’s U.S. store; absence from that catalog alone cannot prove that no limited or regional release ever occurred.

The careful answer is that there is no verified evidence in the cited sources that the Dual Washing Bot reached normal retail availability. There is also no verified cancellation announcement here, so calling it cancelled would go beyond the evidence. Check Eureka’s U.S. product catalog and its robot-vacuum listings for current products; neither provides a confirmed purchase path for this concept.

What to consider instead

If you need working appliances now, separate products can provide portions of the proposed system, though none is a direct replacement for the concept’s laundry-and-robot integration. You can select a conventional washer/dryer independently and choose floor care based on the home’s layout and surfaces.

Option What it covers Trade-off
Separate washer/dryer and robot vacuum or vacuum-mop Laundry plus autonomous floor cleaning, selected as separate appliances. Requires separate floor space and does not share the laundry plumbing. Independent products are easier to choose, upgrade or replace separately.
Wet/dry floor cleaner Active vacuuming and washing of hard floors with manual operation. Not autonomous, and it does not provide laundry functions. Eureka’s U.S. catalog lists its floor-care range.
Robot vacuum/mop with its own dock Autonomous floor cleaning with a separate robot dock; capabilities vary by model. Remains a separate appliance and may still require user maintenance. Eureka’s robot-vacuum catalog shows currently listed alternatives.

The integrated concept could appeal to a compact home with permanent water and drain connections, hard floors and a relatively uncluttered robot route. It would be a poor fit for a renter unable to alter plumbing, a multi-level home where one dock cannot serve the floors, or a buyer who needs established laundry capacity, warranty support and repairability. Combining systems also creates a shared-failure risk: a fault in the dock, plumbing interface, electronics or software could interfere with more than one function.

For a construction or renovation project, do not reserve cabinetry, rough-ins or electrical capacity around the Dual Washing Bot without an official model and installation guide. Plan for a standard laundry appliance using its actual manufacturer documentation, and treat floor-care equipment as a separate selection unless a confirmed integrated product becomes available.

Bottom line

The Eureka Dual Washing Bot is a compelling CES 2024 concept: a washer/dryer above a robot vacuum-mop dock that was designed to share water and drainage infrastructure. But its final specifications, price and retail release remain unverified in the cited sources. It is not a dependable appliance choice for a current purchase or a construction specification; choose available laundry and floor-care products separately rather than designing a project around the concept.
