Food Network’s current best-overall olive-oil dispenser is the 12-ounce KitchenDAO Precision Pour Glass Oil Dispenser, thanks to its adjustable drizzle-to-pour control and easy filling. Its clear-glass body is the caveat: for oil that stays on the counter, a dark or opaque, capped dispenser is the smarter storage choice.
Food Network named the KitchenDAO Precision Pour Glass Oil Dispenser its best overall after a 19-product hands-on evaluation, and it is the right starting point for most cooks who want one bottle for both delicate finishing and everyday pouring. Its adjustable top can produce a thin drizzle or a fuller flow, and the tester reported easy filling and a clean exterior after use. Its meaningful limitation is clear glass: it is a control-first choice, not the strongest choice for protecting olive oil that sits in bright counter light.
If light protection is your priority, choose a dark-green glass, opaque porcelain, or stainless-steel dispenser with a cap instead. The dispenser should make oil easier to use without turning good oil into countertop decor that is exposed to light, heat, and air.

Best olive oil dispensers at a glance
| Best for | Dispenser | Why it stands out | Know before buying |
|---|---|---|---|
| Everyday controlled pouring | KitchenDAO Precision Pour Glass Oil Dispenser | Adjustable drizzle, pour, and closed settings; wide filling opening; 12-ounce capacity. | Clear glass gives limited protection from counter light. |
| Value and dark glass | AOZITA Glass Olive Oil Bottle Dispenser | 18-ounce dark-green bottle with funnel, two spouts, and sealing caps. | Narrow mouth is less convenient to clean; glass is relatively thin. |
| Tabletop presentation | Ponsas French Porcelain Oil Container | Opaque glazed porcelain and dual spout settings for narrow or freer pouring. | Its 26-ounce size is excessive for slow users; the small cap is easy to misplace. |
| Pan and sheet-pan spraying | Flairosol Olivia Advanced Kitchen Oil Sprayer | Comfortable trigger, wide fill opening, and compact 4.4-ounce format. | Spray can be heavier than expected and is not a continuous stream. |
| Both spray and pour | TrendPlain Glass Olive Oil Sprayer & Pourer | Fine fan-like spray, separate pour mode, and measurement markings. | Clear glass is a poor fit for oil kept full on a bright counter. |
| Opaque stainless steel | Olietta Olive Oil Stainless Steel Dispenser | Capped 17-ounce vessel with a controlled drizzle and fuller stream. | Narrow neck requires slow filling, and you cannot see the remaining oil. |

1. KitchenDAO Precision Pour Glass Oil Dispenser: best overall for controlled pouring
The KitchenDAO is the strongest all-purpose pick when the main job is controlling how much oil reaches the pan, salad, or serving dish. Food Network reported that its 12-ounce borosilicate-glass bottle was easy to fill through its wide opening, while the plastic-and-silicone top with a stainless spout kept the outside from becoming oily during testing.

- KEEP YOUR OLIVE OIL FRESH - The green glass efficiently protects olive oil from sunlight and largely prolongs the preservation time. Black screw cap & white inner cork makes long-term / air-tight storage possible.

The useful feature is the top dial: it selects a one-drop setting, a two-drop setting, or a closed setting. In Food Network’s test, the lighter setting made a thin trickle and the heavier setting produced a more generous flow. That makes it more versatile than a fixed-spout bottle for cooks who alternate between finishing roasted vegetables and adding oil to a skillet.
Choose it if: you want adjustable drizzle-to-pour control and do not leave a full dispenser in strong daylight.

Skip it if: the bottle will permanently live on a sunlit counter. The closed setting can limit air exposure, but clear glass does not minimize light exposure.
2. AOZITA Glass Olive Oil Bottle Dispenser: best value for a dark-glass kit
The AOZITA is the practical budget-oriented choice for someone who wants dark glass, a useful funnel, and spare closure options in one set. Food Network reports an 18-ounce dark-green glass bottle, two pour spouts, two sealing caps or stoppers, and a funnel. The funnel matters because the bottle’s opening is narrow.
In the cited test, it poured in a controlled way with limited residual drip. The trade-off is maintenance: a narrow neck is harder to scrub thoroughly, and Food Network characterized the glass as thin. It suits a cook who values a protected, larger refill over a wide-mouth design.
Choose it if: you want dark glass and a flexible starter kit at a value-oriented price.

3. Ponsas French Porcelain Oil Container: best splurge for the table
The Ponsas is the presentation-driven pick, but its opaque glazed French porcelain also serves a practical purpose by minimizing light exposure. Its capped, nested dual-spout arrangement changes from a narrower to a wider flow when turned. Food Network reported controlled and freer-pour settings, with no post-pour dripping in its test.
At 26 ounces, this is not automatically the best vessel for preserving oil at home. A large dispenser makes sense for frequent cooks, entertaining, or a household that turns through oil quickly. For occasional tabletop use, a smaller decanter is preferable to leaving a large volume exposed for a long time.
Choose it if: you use olive oil often and want an opaque, polished tabletop vessel.

4. Flairosol Olivia Advanced Kitchen Oil Sprayer: best dedicated sprayer
A sprayer solves a different problem from a pourer: broad coverage on a pan, air-fryer basket, or sheet pan. Food Network’s pick for that task is the approximately 4.4-ounce Flairosol Olivia. Its tester reported a comfortable trigger, a wide filling opening, and easy cleanup.
It is not the best tool for a very light, highly precise mist. Food Network found that the output could be fuller than desired and that repeated pumping did not create the continuous spray indicated by the manual. Treat it as a compact, generous-spray tool that will need frequent refilling, not as a finishing-oil dispenser.
Choose it if: you regularly coat cookware and are comfortable refilling a small reservoir.

5. TrendPlain Glass Olive Oil Sprayer & Pourer: best hybrid
The TrendPlain earns its place only if you truly use both modes. Food Network reported a 16-ounce clear-glass body, trigger sprayer, lever-operated pour spout, and side measurement markings. In its test, the spray was fine and uniform in a fan shape, while the pour was smooth and drip-free.
That flexibility can reduce clutter, but it does not solve the storage issue: clear glass does not shield oil from light. Store it in a cupboard, or refill it with an amount you will use promptly rather than keeping a full bottle beside a bright window.
Choose it if: one bottle needs to cover sheet-pan spraying and conventional pouring.
Skip it if: you will only ever use one mode, or the bottle must stay in ambient light.
6. Olietta Olive Oil Stainless Steel Dispenser: best opaque metal option
The Olietta is for cooks who prefer an opaque, capped dispenser and do not need to see the fill line. Food Network describes a 17-ounce stainless-steel and silicone bottle with a stopper, cap, and narrow internal air tube. Its tester reported a controlled drizzle and a fuller stream without noticeable glugging, plus little drip.
Its narrow neck is the operational compromise. Fill it slowly to avoid overflow, and expect to estimate when it needs a refill. The opaque body helps reduce light exposure, but it still needs to stay capped and away from stove heat.

An alternate for a very small controlled pour
The OXO Good Grips Precision Pour Glass Dispenser is worth considering for a small-format bottle, especially for oil, vinegar, or soy sauce at the table. OXO says its 5-ounce dispenser gives a drizzle at a shallow tilt and a steadier pour at a greater tilt. The manufacturer also specifies a folded anti-drip lip, leakproof lid seal, and dishwasher-safe BPA-free parts. This is manufacturer information, not an independent test ranking. OXO advises using it with thin condiments; thicker dressings may clog the spout.

Start with the task
- Pourer: Best for drizzling over finished food, adding oil to a measuring cup, and making a fuller pour into a pan.
- Sprayer: Best for broad coverage over cookware, vegetables, and sheet pans.
- Hybrid: Worth the extra mechanism only when both jobs are routine. The TrendPlain is the versatile option; a dedicated pourer or sprayer is simpler when one mode dominates.
Then decide where the oil will live
Dark glass, opaque ceramic, and stainless steel are preferable for oil stored on an open counter or shelf. UC Davis notes that dark or opaque packaging minimizes the light exposure that hastens oxidation. The North American Olive Oil Association likewise advises a secure cap or seal and dark or opaque packaging for oil kept on a counter or open shelf.
Clear glass is still reasonable when it is stored in a dark cupboard and refilled often. It is not automatically a bad material; it is simply a poorer match for long, bright countertop exposure.

More capacity means fewer refills, not necessarily better storage. The picks here run from roughly 4.4 ounces to 26 ounces. Buy an amount you will empty in normal use. The North American Olive Oil Association recommends small decanters for tabletop use rather than permanently displaying a large bottle.
Do not underestimate cleanup
Wide mouths and separable tops make filling and cleaning less frustrating. A narrow-neck bottle can work well, but it is more dependent on a funnel and cleaning brush. Check the care instructions for the exact model: a dishwasher-safe bottle or base does not necessarily mean every spout, lid, gasket, or pump component can go in the dishwasher.
How these picks were selected
This guide relies on Food Network’s hands-on olive-oil-dispenser roundup, updated June 24, 2026. Jessica Harlan ordered and evaluated 19 products, assessing filling, light drizzle, fuller pour, spray performance where relevant, handling, and cleanup. The six main recommendations above are Food Network’s category winners, not universal claims that one product is best for every kitchen.
Recommended Free Tools
The recommendations also apply storage guidance from UC Davis and the North American Olive Oil Association: minimize light exposure with dark or opaque packaging, limit air exposure with a secure cap or seal, and keep oil cool and away from heat. Long-term durability, breakage resistance, replacement-part availability, warranty handling, and current retailer inventory were not independently established by the cited testing and should be checked before purchase.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a dark olive-oil dispenser better than clear glass?
For olive oil kept on an open counter or shelf, dark or opaque material is better at minimizing light exposure. Clear glass can be a sensible choice when it is stored in a dark cupboard and refilled or used promptly.
Should I leave the pour spout uncovered?
No. Close the cap, stopper, or seal whenever the dispenser is not being used. A secure closure helps limit air exposure, which contributes to oxidation.
Are sprayers better than pourers?
Neither is universally better. Use a sprayer for broad cookware coverage, a pourer for precise drizzles and fuller pours, and a hybrid only when both tasks are part of your regular cooking routine.
What size olive-oil dispenser should I buy?
Buy a capacity you will empty in normal use rather than simply the largest bottle. The cited options range from about 4.4 ounces to 26 ounces, and smaller decanters are generally preferable for tabletop service.
The Bottom Line
For most cooks, choose the KitchenDAO for adjustable, clean pouring and keep it in a dark cupboard between uses. Choose the AOZITA, Ponsas, or Olietta instead when an opaque or dark, capped dispenser will live out on the counter; choose a sprayer only for broad pan coverage.
