Glacier Bay is worth considering when a specific model fits your project and its warranty and parts support meet your needs. It is not a brand you can rate as good or poor as a whole. Home Depot’s own material documents a wide kitchen and bath range and a retailer service channel, but the evidence available does not include independent, brand-wide durability or satisfaction data. Judge the exact product in front of you.
What Glacier Bay covers
Glacier Bay is Home Depot’s kitchen and bath brand. According to Home Depot’s Glacier Bay customer service guide (last updated September 7, 2023), the range includes toilets, faucets, showerheads, bathroom vanities, hardware, and kitchen sinks. Home Depot also lists repair parts and related bath products under the brand.
That breadth matters because it means “Glacier Bay” describes many different products made to different standards of fit and finish. A verdict on a toilet says little about a vanity, and neither says much about a faucet. Evaluate each purchase separately.
Warranty terms depend on the product
Home Depot’s guide says Glacier Bay warranties come in three lengths: limited lifetime, five-year, and one-year. The guide gives examples of products in each group, and the group a product falls into determines how long it is covered. Some specified products also carry a 90-day satisfaction return policy, which is a return window rather than a defect warranty.

Do not assume that every Glacier Bay product shares one duration. Read the warranty that accompanies the exact model you are buying.
Conditions that can end a claim
- Proof of purchase: the guide says warranty eligibility requires proof of purchase from the original consumer purchaser. Keep the receipt with the product.
- Exclusions: the guide lists misuse, abuse, and normal wear and tear as excluded causes. A cracked handle from over-tightening or a finish worn through by cleaning products is more likely to fall outside coverage than a failed internal part.
- Installation: a warranty covers the product’s defects, not leaks or damage caused by an incorrect install. Follow the manual for connections and torque limits.
Support, parts, and documentation
The guide directs buyers to Home Depot product pages and manuals for specifications and installation instructions. It also lists Glacier Bay customer service at 1-855-434-5224 and asks callers to have the product number ready. That number and the service hours were stated in the 2023 guide, so confirm them on Home Depot’s current customer service page before you rely on them.

How to find the model identifiers
- Locate the model number or UPC on the product itself, the packaging, the receipt, or the printed manual.
- Search Home Depot by that UPC or model number, not by the brand name alone. Brand searches return many similar-looking listings.
- Open the product page and download the manual. Check the specifications section for sink hole configuration, spread, and connection type before you buy.
- Save the warranty document and the receipt together in one folder. If you need a replacement part later, the model number is what the service team will ask for.
A worked example: the Constructor HD67499W-6404 faucet

- Sink fit: measure the existing holes. A three-hole sink with a 4-inch spread is a standard centerset arrangement, but older or non-standard sinks may differ.
- Warranty length: the listing’s limited lifetime coverage applies to this model. A different Glacier Bay faucet could carry a shorter term.
- Parts path: confirm that the cartridge and supply lines for this model can be identified from the model number in the manual.
How to judge a specific Glacier Bay product
Compare the exact model on five points before you buy:
- Installation fit: configuration, hole spacing, dimensions, connections, and the printed instructions.
- Warranty and remedy: the duration for that model, covered defects, exclusions, and what proof of purchase is required.
- Repairability: whether the manual and replacement parts can be identified by model number or UPC.

- Total cost: the product price plus any accessories, supply lines, or installation labor it requires. Prices change, so compare them on the day you buy.
What the available evidence does not show
The official material establishes the product range, the warranty categories, the proof-of-purchase rule, and the existence of a service channel. It does not provide controlled comparative testing of Glacier Bay products against other brands, and it does not give a brand-wide lifespan or customer satisfaction figure. Any claim that Glacier Bay products last longer or fail more often than comparable brands would need evidence the sources here do not contain.
