Do not treat these numbers as specifications for every Snowdog. The listed maximum towing capacities are manufacturer figures, not independent test results, and the capacity caveat matters: the same load can behave differently on snow, ice, marsh, mud, grass, or another surface. Review the documentation for the exact model before deciding whether it suits a planned load or route.

Snow depth and terrain claims
Snowdog’s dealer FAQ says a machine may travel through snow up to 50 cm (20 in) deep when there is not much water beneath it. This is a manufacturer FAQ claim, not a guarantee for all models, snow conditions, or terrain. The FAQ also says towing capacity depends on the model and surface conditions. Snowdog’s FAQ provides that qualification.
For a model comparison, check the track configuration and intended terrain alongside engine and drive features, machine weight, towing capacity, and transport dimensions. A single headline capacity or speed number does not establish performance across routes or conditions.
