Dimensions and materials: treat secondary figures as provisional
A user-uploaded reproduction of the May 2021 magazine article reports approximate finished dimensions of 22 × 11¼ × 2⅜ inches and a ½-inch Baltic birch plywood game board. These are secondary-source figures, not confirmed specifications from the publicly accessible project page. Verify dimensions, materials, and any other construction details against the purchased original plan before cutting stock or laying out the build. The same reproduction gives a $50 materials estimate from 2021; it is historical and project-specific, not a current budget.

The Scribd reproduction is useful for identifying what to verify, but it should not replace the original plan for a build.
What you need before starting
The public WOOD project page does not expose the complete cut list, tool list, or assembly sequence. Do not assume that the materials or steps from another tabletop hockey design apply to this one. Obtain the original plan first, then confirm its exact stock sizes, hardware, tools, and construction order before buying materials.

For context only, a separate University of Illinois Extension tabletop hockey plan illustrates common tasks in this kind of project, including cutting and grooving frame pieces, fitting a playing board, assembling sides and braces, adding goals, making pucks and strikers, sanding, and finishing. Its bill of materials and instructions belong to a different design, not the WOOD Magazine project.
