Realtor.com reported on October 6, 2025, that the property was offered for $3.99 million and showed a contingent offer. That was the listing status reported at the time, not confirmation that the home remains available. Homes of Celebs later reported that it sold for $4 million. That sale figure is secondary reporting; no closing record is cited here.
The price history reported by Realtor.com begins with Harris and Burtka’s purchase for $2.1 million in 2010. The outlet says they sold the home for $2.99 million in 2014. These are reported transaction figures, not independently verified public-record findings.

In 2012, Harris and Burtka welcomed Oprah Winfrey and her camera crew to the home for an episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter. The backyard served as the setting for the interview. Realtor.com later described the 2025 listing as a return to the market roughly 13 years after that television appearance.

Reported smart-home and energy upgrades
According to Realtor.com, later owners added remotely controlled lighting, HVAC, appliances, and other electronic devices, along with Enphase solar equipment, Tesla backup wall batteries, and an EV charging station. Listing agent Andrew Manning told Realtor.com the additions cost an estimated $80,000; that is his estimate as reported by the outlet, not an independently audited project total.
Manning described the property to Realtor.com as “It is a truly great family home.” The comment is the listing agent’s characterization, not an appraisal or a statement from Harris.
