- Electrical compatibility: Match the appliance’s stated voltage and plug to your country and outlet. Do not assume a model is suitable for every market.

Tefal lists soft, medium, and hard-boiled options for the F2361811. These descriptions do not guarantee identical results across egg sizes, starting temperatures, or kitchens, so use the model’s manual and adjust only as it directs.
For a larger batch
The published capacities here are six eggs for SEVERIN EK 3166, seven for Elite Gourmet EGC-007BG and Tefal F2361811, and eight for CASO E9. Capacity is a model specification, not a measure of cooking quality.

Electrical compatibility can rule out a model before its features matter. Elite Gourmet specifies 120V, while CASO specifies 220–240V with a Schuko plug. Check the appliance label and plug requirements for your location; do not rely on a listing that omits them.
Check the exact model before you order
- Find the full model number and variant on the product listing, not only the brand or product-family name.
- Compare the listed capacity, included trays or cups, controls, and cleaning information with the manufacturer’s page or manual.
- Confirm voltage, plug, and any regional requirements for your home.
- Check current stock, warranty terms, and whether accessories or replacement parts are actually available.
- Read the manual before first use, especially its water-measuring and operating instructions.
Some product pages need extra care. KENT’s manufacturer page gives inconsistent capacity information: the feature copy says seven eggs, while its FAQ says up to six depending on model variant. Verify the exact SKU and manual rather than treating either number as universal. Wahl’s ZX945 page marks the model discontinued and its spare egg tray and lid out of stock, so it should not be treated as a current buying option without checking fresh availability.

Use an egg steamer safely
Steam and heated appliance parts can burn. Keep hands and face away from escaping steam, handle hot components carefully, and keep children away from the operating appliance. Follow the exact model’s manual. Automatic shut-off or an audible signal does not make it safe to leave a hot appliance unattended indefinitely.
