But its specified input is 220–240 V / 50 Hz, so it is not a universal recommendation: check your local voltage, plug and the current manual before buying. An iron without auto-off must never be left unattended while hot. KRAFT KF-CI24205 manual; Rowenta product support guidance.
Is there an iron without automatic shutoff?
Yes. The KRAFT KF-CI24205 manual says “Auto-off | no.” That is evidence for this specific model, not proof that it is currently stocked, sold in your region or available through a particular retailer. The manual also cautions that specifications may change, so verify the current documentation for the exact product before purchasing. KRAFT KF-CI24205 manual.
The manual describes a 2400 W iron with a 350 ml tank, ceramic soleplate, dry and steam ironing, anti-drip, self-cleaning, anti-scale and overheat-protection features. These are specifications in that manual; they do not establish current retail availability or independent product performance.
Check electrical compatibility first
The KF-CI24205 manual specifies 220–240 V / 50 Hz. Confirm that those electrical ratings match your supply and check that the plug is suitable for your outlet. Do not assume a voltage converter or plug adapter makes an incompatible appliance safe to use; follow the manufacturer’s instructions for your region.

Understand the safety tradeoff
Automatic shutoff is a safety feature, not merely an interruption to work around. Rowenta’s product support guidance says, “Above all, never leave a hot iron unattended,” and advises choosing an iron with automatic cut-off when safety is a main concern. Those are manufacturer safety recommendations, not findings from an independent comparative study. Rowenta product support guidance.
Do not leave an iron without auto-off on while you handle fabric, change a sewing or quilting step, answer the door or step away for any other reason. Turn it off and unplug it after use as directed by its own manual. A Sunbeam instruction manual describes auto-off as a safety feature and says it is not a recommended way to turn the iron off; that instruction applies to the product series covered by that manual. Could an iron with auto-off still work for your routine?
If you want an iron to stay ready between pressing steps, compare the exact auto-off behavior rather than rejecting every model with the feature. Timing may vary by position and model. BLACK+DECKER’s F976 and Gorenje’s SIH 2600GC product pages each describe shutoff after 30 seconds horizontally and after 8 minutes upright. Those timings apply to those named models, not to irons generally. BLACK+DECKER F976; Gorenje SIH 2600GC.
Before choosing one, look for the manufacturer’s explanation of what happens after shutoff and how heating resumes. A timer may be acceptable if it gives enough time for your work pattern and the restart process is convenient. The cited product pages establish the stated delays, but do not establish a shared restart behavior.

How to compare models without guessing
Use the model’s own manual or manufacturer product page to verify its shutoff behavior. A missing mention on a retailer listing does not establish that auto-off is absent.
Quick Recap

- AUTO CLEAN SYSTEM – Keep the iron at peak performance with the Auto Clean system, which flushes out mineral deposits. Regular use is recommended to help maintain consistent steam flow and reduce buildup from hard water.
- VARIABLE TEMPERATURE & STEAM CONTROLS – Customize steam and temperature separately for best results on all fabrics. Adjust per fabric label and allow a few seconds for temperature changes to take effect.
- AUTOMATIC SHUTOFF – For peace of mind, the iron shuts off after 30 secs on its side or soleplate, and after 8 mins on the heel. If it stops heating unexpectedly, it may be in shutoff mode—just reposition to reactivate.
- STAINLESS STEEL SOLEPLATE – The durable, heavy-duty soleplate glides smoothly over all fabric types to press out wrinkles in no time. To maintain a smooth glide, avoid ironing over zippers or buttons and wipe the soleplate clean after use.
