The Tineco Floor One S3 is a cordless floor washer designed to pick up dry debris and wash indoor sealed hard floors in one pass. Tineco lists tile, vinyl, wood, laminate, linoleum and marble as suitable surfaces. Its published specifications include up to about 35 minutes of runtime in Auto mode, 25 minutes in Max mode, and two separate water tanks. Those are manufacturer claims and specifications—not independently verified cleaning results.
What the Floor One S3 is designed to do
Tineco describes the FLOOR ONE S3 as a wet-and-dry floor washer for indoor sealed flooring. The company says its iLoop Smart Sensor detects wet and dry messes and adjusts suction and water flow automatically. The product page also advertises a display, voice prompts, app support and a self-cleaning function. These are listed features; their reliability in everyday use has not been independently established here. See Tineco’s FLOOR ONE S3 product page.
The sealed-floor qualification matters: Tineco names tile, vinyl, wood, laminate, linoleum and marble, but the available product guidance does not establish suitability for unsealed or delicate surfaces. Check the flooring manufacturer’s care instructions before using a wet floor washer.
Can it vacuum and mop at the same time?
It is designed to collect dry debris while washing a hard floor, rather than requiring a separate dry-vacuum pass first. Tineco’s FAQ also says the S3 can be used for dry vacuuming without water. For that use, operate it without filling the clean-water tank; follow the manual’s operating and maintenance directions for your unit. The FAQ does not establish how well it handles particular debris types or how its cleaning results compare with other machines. Tineco’s FLOOR ONE S3 FAQ

Runtime, charging and tank capacity
The specifications below come from Tineco’s FLOOR ONE S3 Series instruction manual, published around 2021. Actual runtime varies with environment and use, and specifications may differ by regional configuration. They should not be read as independent measurements.
| Specification | Tineco-published figure | Practical implication |
|---|---|---|
| Runtime | Approximately 35 minutes in Auto mode; approximately 25 minutes in Max mode | Max mode is rated for less operating time. The actual duration depends on use and conditions. |
| Charging time | About 4–5 hours | Plan ahead if you need to use the appliance again after the battery is depleted. |
| Clean-water tank | 0.6 L | Clean water and any approved solution go in this tank. |
| Dirty-water tank | 0.5 L | Collected liquid and debris must be emptied as needed. |
| Battery | 21.6 V, 4000 mAh lithium-ion | A published battery specification, not a guarantee of runtime. |
| Rated power | 220 W | A listed electrical specification; it does not establish cleaning performance. |
| Water resistance | IPX4 | A specification in the manual; it is not permission to submerge or rinse the appliance indiscriminately. |
Because the clean- and dirty-water tanks are separate, using the machine involves filling one and periodically emptying the other. Tineco’s US FAQ lists the main-body weight as 4.6 kg; a separate Tineco support page describes it as about 9.5 lb. The published figures are not identical and may reflect rounding or different components being weighed, so they should not be treated as a single precise weight. The FAQ lists 78 dBA, while the support page describes sound output as up to 78 dBA.

- One Press Self-cleaning—The Floor ONE S5 self-cleaning cycle deep-cleans the brush roller and tubing for hands-free maintenance. After cleaning, centrifugal drying effectively removes water from the roller.
Which cleaning solution can you use?
Tineco recommends its matched cleaning solution and cautions against third-party formulas because excess suds can fill the dirty-water tank quickly. The company also warns that bleach may damage the appliance. Check the instructions for your region and model before adding any cleaning product; do not assume that a formula suitable for ordinary mopping is suitable for this machine. Tineco’s solution guidance
How to run the self-cleaning cycle
Tineco says the cycle takes about 40 seconds and the appliance shuts off automatically when it finishes. Before starting, meet the manufacturer’s stated prerequisites:
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:

- All-in-One Display
- Voice Prompts
- Smart Battery Management
- Place the appliance on its storage tray and keep it plugged in.
- Empty the dirty-water tank.
- Make sure the clean-water tank is at least one-third full.
Then use the self-cleaning control as described in the manual for your model. Tineco’s FLOOR ONE S3 support page provides the company’s care and support information. Self-cleaning reduces direct brush-roll handling, but it does not remove the need to empty and maintain the tanks as instructed.
Warranty and ownership checks
Tineco’s US support page states a two-year warranty for registered products. Warranty terms can depend on purchase location and seller, so check the terms that apply to your specific purchase and region. Package contents, current availability, app support and regional specifications can also vary; confirm those details with the seller and the applicable product documentation.

What this review can—and cannot—establish
The available product information supports a clear description of the S3’s intended use, published specifications and care guidance. It does not establish independent results for cleaning quality, streaking, pet hair, battery life over time, durability, failure rates or performance against competing floor washers. Tineco’s performance language should therefore be understood as the manufacturer’s claim, not as a tested outcome.
