Titaner’s Ti Folding Knife pairs a two-action opening mechanism with a Grade 5 titanium body and replaceable utility blades. New Atlas reported a 99.5 mm (3.92 in) length and 83 g (2.93 oz) weight in May 2025. The reported Kickstarter prices are historical campaign figures, not evidence of today’s price or availability.
How the dual-lock opening works
New Atlas reported that opening the knife requires two separate actions: slide a latch, then press a button. The report says both actions produce a click. The design is intended to reduce the chance of the knife opening unintentionally in a pocket or bag; that is a design rationale, not a measured safety result.
The blade reportedly opens to 175 degrees. Titaner also claimed that the open knife could hold an 11 lb (5 kg) weight, as reported by New Atlas. That figure is a company claim, not an independently verified load test. New Atlas described the knife as having more than 30 components and heat-treated internals; these are reported design details, not findings from an independent teardown or durability test.
Materials, size and blade format
New Atlas identifies the body material as Grade 5 titanium and gives the knife’s dimensions and weight as follows:

The knife uses replaceable utility blades, and New Atlas named Stanley, Deli and Woodpecker as compatible brands. The report says blades can be changed without additional tools, but it does not provide blade dimensions. Check the blade’s shape and fit before buying replacements rather than assuming every utility blade from a named brand will fit.
Carry and adjustment details
New Atlas describes a pocket clip, textured grip and lanyard slot. The report also says the pivot can be adjusted by loosening or tightening a screw with an Allen wrench; the required wrench size is not stated. Titaner’s frame is described as designed for stability while cutting, and the blade as not contacting the frame when folded. Those are company design descriptions relayed by New Atlas, not independently verified cutting or safety-test results.

What the 2025 campaign price does—and does not—tell you
New Atlas reported a planned US$399 retail price and a US$229 introductory Kickstarter pledge in May 2025, excluding shipping and duties. Both are historical figures: the pledge was a campaign offer, and the planned retail price is not confirmation of a current selling price.
Kickstarter records the campaign as running from May 6 to May 31, 2025, with 118 backers and US$33,187 pledged. Those figures document campaign activity only; they do not establish that the knife is currently in stock or available at retail. Current price and availability remain unverified in the cited material.
