Amazon’s October 2026 Prime Big Deal Days ended at 11:59 p.m. PDT on Oct. 7 (2:59 a.m. EDT on Oct. 8). The kitchen prices featured during the event are dated snapshots, not confirmed offers now. If you are shopping after the sale, check each product’s current listing, seller, stock and price history before deciding whether a markdown is worthwhile.
When did the October Prime Day sale end?
Amazon’s official FAQ says Prime Big Deal Days 2026 ended at 11:59 p.m. PDT Wednesday, Oct. 7, or 2:59 a.m. EDT Thursday, Oct. 8. Amazon described it as a two-day fall event for Prime members; summer Prime Day is also exclusive to Prime members. Its announcement said the event ran through Oct. 7 for 48 hours. That means “save up to 50 percent before the sale ends” is no longer a current offer. NBC Selected’s Oct. 7 roundup used an “up to 50%” savings claim for its sale-period picks; it should not be read as a discount available now. Any post-event price needs to be checked on the retailer’s live page.
What kitchen deal prices were reported during the event?
The following are prices reported by Bon Appétit in its 2026 Prime Day coverage, not verified current prices. Availability, seller and price may have changed since publication.

Bon Appétit’s Oct. 8 post-event update separately reported a Ninja 4-qt Air Fryer at 33% off and a Ninja CREAMi at $280 versus $350. The CREAMi update’s stated discount percentage conflicts with the arithmetic of those prices, so compare the current listing rather than relying on that percentage. These figures, too, are dated snapshots. Bon Appétit’s Oct. 7 roundup and its Oct. 8 update are the cited sources.
Bon Appétit said its recommendations were editor-approved and included products tested in its Test Kitchen or used at home. NBC Selected characterized its Oct. 7 picks as highly rated, at least 20% off and at their lowest prices in at least three months according to its editorial process. Those are each publisher’s descriptions of its own selections, not a standardized comparison across the products.

How to judge a kitchen appliance markdown now
Start with the job the appliance needs to do
Compare products within the category that matches your cooking: blending, pressure cooking, food processing, air frying or coffee. A blender and a food processor are not interchangeable simply because both are discounted. For models that fit the same job, check capacity, counter or storage footprint, included functions and accessories before comparing price.
Check the live listing and recent price history
Confirm that the listing is for the model and configuration you want, note the seller and current stock status, and compare today’s price with its recent history. Amazon says its Price History tool can show up to 365 days of pricing data. That context can help distinguish a meaningful reduction from a short-lived reference price; it does not guarantee that a deal will return. Amazon’s FAQ includes its guidance on checking price history.

Keep event and later promotions separate
A retailer or manufacturer may still offer a discount after Prime Big Deal Days, but it is a separate promotion with its own dates and eligibility terms. For example, KitchenAid’s official promotions page can list offers outside Amazon’s event; check the terms on the current offer rather than treating it as an extension of the expired sale.
