What is the Nest Easy Breather made of?
Nest lists the fill as 80% CertiPUR-US certified virgin foam blend—memory foam and high-response foam—and 20% smooth polyester fiber. The inner pouch is described as breathable knit cotton. The outer cover is listed as 49% Icecore, 49% polyester, and 2% spandex. These are manufacturer specifications, not independently verified material tests. Nest Bedding’s product page has the current listing.
The standard product listing gives Standard/Queen dimensions of 26 × 18 inches and King dimensions of 34 × 18 inches. Nest’s collection also includes related Easy Breather variants, including a Junior Side Sleeper size and a Side Sleeper pillow; check the live listing for the exact version and dimensions available when buying.
How does its adjustability work?
Nest says the pillow arrives overfilled. Open the side zipper and remove some fill to lower the loft or change the feel; an included bag stores removed material. This gives you a way to experiment with height and firmness rather than being locked into the pillow’s original fill level.

Adjustability is a practical feature, not a medical fitting system. The available evidence does not establish that a particular loft is right for a given sleep position, body, or mattress, or that changing the fill will resolve neck discomfort.
Is it actually cooler, or science-backed for sleep?
Nest attributes airflow to the foam-and-fiber fill structure and breathable cover, and promotes cooler sleeping. Those are manufacturer claims: the sources available do not provide controlled comparative temperature measurements or clinical evidence that the pillow improves sleep quality or relieves pain. CertiPUR-US certification applies to the foam; it is not evidence of a clinical sleep or health outcome.

Tom’s Guide published a hands-on review of the Side Sleeper variant after several weeks of use, assessing comfort, support, temperature regulation, setup, durability, and care across side, back, and stomach positions. How should you compare it with other adjustable pillows?
Start with the details that affect daily use, not just a broad “cooling” label. A May 2026 Tom’s Guide comparison describes the Nest Side Sleeper’s foam-and-polyester fill and contrasts it with the Eli & Elm Side Sleeper’s fill options. - Fill and feel: Compare materials and whether the pillow’s feel suits your preference.
- Shape and dimensions: Check the exact variant and size, especially when comparing a standard pillow with a side-sleeper design.
- Adjustment: Consider how fill is removed, whether the pillow includes storage for excess fill, and how easy the process is to reverse.
- Care: Confirm which components can be washed and how they must be cleaned.
- Purchase terms: Compare current price, trial period, warranty, and shipping terms rather than assuming they are the same across brands.
What are the trial, warranty, shipping, and care terms?
Nest’s product page lists a 30-night trial and a two-year pillow warranty. It also states that, for orders shipped within the continental United States, orders under $130 incur a $10 shipping fee and orders of $130 or more receive free shipping. These terms and the stated geography can change, so check the product page at checkout.
For cleaning, Nest’s written instructions say to remove the outer cover, wash it in cold water on a delicate cycle, avoid bleach and fabric softener, and tumble dry on low heat. The same page also attributes a statement to a Certified Sleep Science Coach saying the entire pillow is machine washable. Because that conflicts with the explicit care directions, follow the written instructions and contact Nest if you need guidance on washing the inner pillow.

When captured in October 2026, Nest’s product page showed a 4.4 out of 5 rating from 21,914 reviews. The page also reported that 96% of buyers kept the pillow, based on the previous 30 days and marked last updated September 2026. These are company-displayed figures; the retention percentage is not an independently audited study, and both metrics can change.
