SUNFLOW lists a 9-inch seat height, a telescoping frame, four recline positions and folded dimensions of 24 × 22.5 × 5 inches. The tradeoff is that its low seat may not suit people who prefer an easier rise, and the chair weighs 9.4 pounds before accessories. This review evaluates the manufacturer’s published specifications and policies; it is not based on independent testing or hands-on use.
What the SUNFLOW Original offers
SUNFLOW describes the Original as its lowest and most compact chair. Its telescoping frame extends for use and compresses for transport or storage. The company lists four recline positions and detachable backpack straps. Those design features make the chair worth considering if a compact folded profile and several recline settings matter more to you than sitting higher off the sand.

Is the low seat right for your beach routine?
A 9-inch seat keeps the chair close to the sand, which may be appealing if you prefer a low beach chair. The corresponding practical consideration is getting down into it and standing back up: a low seat may be less convenient for someone with limited mobility, knee or hip discomfort, or a preference for sitting at a more conventional height. The manufacturer’s specifications alone cannot establish how comfortable it will feel for a particular person.
The listed 9.4-pound weight is for the chair without accessories. If you plan to carry add-ons as well as the chair, account for their additional weight and storage needs; SUNFLOW does not include accessory weight in that chair figure.

SUNFLOW’s comparison positions the Original as the compact, low-slung option, but it is not the lowest or lightest model in every respect. The Shore Thing has a lower listed seat height and weight, while the other models sit higher. Choose by the tradeoff that matters most: the Original’s compact folded size and four recline positions, the Shore Thing’s lower listed weight, or a higher seat on the High Tide or Tall Sand Dune. SUNFLOW’s comparison does not provide folded dimensions for the other models in the cited material, so compare their current product pages if storage space is decisive. The Tall Sand Dune’s separate product page lists a 225-pound seated-weight limit; do not apply that figure to the Original, whose listed limit is 250 pounds. How the frame and recline work
SUNFLOW’s FAQ describes the frame as telescoping. To release or retract the backrest and extend or retract the back legs, the company instructs owners to press a silicone button. It describes the Original’s recline mechanism as finger-trigger operated. Consult the chair’s current instructions when setting it up; the FAQ’s description is not an independent assessment of how easy the mechanism is to operate.
Accessories and towel compatibility
SUNFLOW sells add-ons including a Sun Shade, Drink Holder and Dry Bag. Confirm that the particular accessory fits the exact chair and check its current name and availability before ordering.

- Dry Bag: SUNFLOW says it attaches to buttons on the chair’s right side.
- Towels: You can use any towel. SUNFLOW towels have loops designed to attach to buttons on the chair, but a branded towel is not required.

For the continental United States, SUNFLOW’s FAQ says full-price, unused merchandise may generally be returned within 30 days of delivery, with a $20 return-shipping fee per chair deducted from the refund. Personalized or custom chairs and items marked final sale are listed as non-returnable. Shipping rates and terms vary by destination; the FAQ lists a $20 standard order shipping fee within the continental US and says international rates depend on destination and products. Confirm eligibility, fees and current policy language before ordering.
